There are people for whom the ARN changed after app submission but they didnt recieve interview calls. So does the new change in ARN signify anything? If only I knew! 😞

Had my interview on Nov 8. Started off with a one-word essay that was heavily discussed in the interview and then there were all sorts of questions on what I do, want to do and how ISB can help me and vice versa. We ended with my questions for ISB and overall it would have gone for about 25 minutes. I thought the interaction was good and was more of a chat than an interview. The application number is still 4 digit.

@ashah79 Yeah even I think it's quite strange to change the app number post interview !! Anyways we left with just 2 working days and 3rd working day is the result !! Wish you all a very happy Diwali and all the best for the results as well !!!

@navieen88 I highly doubt the'yll number rejected applicants! I mean, why bother, they don't even have to send out the letters immediately, do they? Anyway, am just going to assume they haven't yet finished assessing all the applicants...for my own happiness's sake :D

I am a first time applicant and I thought I had good chance of at least getting an IV call. ( I guess I am not the only one who thinks that.. )

Well I am trying to figure out what went wrong but am unable to conclude. ISB does give a feedback to rejected candidate but in April-May (Thats what I read in the previous posts.) I guess I will wait till then.

What I would like to know from those who got the calls , did they opt for a professional help in writing there essays?? I am just trying to figure out whether my essays let me down. Would appreciate if anyone could share his/her experience in this regards.

@msrdon I did not take any professional help...got my call for Nov 8. I believe I did well in the essays but most of it was still luck. It's someone's opinion...something we have little control over.

@fanatic_ronnie you are absolute right.But then there is somee internal factors like best of ths industry type 30% or more.N other issues which one can understand as a businessman wen u are a private player in the field.Its all fair

@Carnivalof_rust ISB Adcom had replied on one of the threads that change is application number was just for internal use and doesn't reflect anything. It changed for everyone from a 6-7 digit number to 4 digit number.

@fanatic_ronnie yes, but there are people who might do it at other schools, might modify etc.
People do all kind of things. You just want to be careful that no one messes up your apps. There are agencies that help people write essays and for them, it's the simplest thing to do because they charge money for writing essays, not for admissions.

Again, I am not saying anyone on this forum has any intentions of doing it,but I just wanted to put a word of caution in there.

I have tried to help many applicants with their applications/essays etc.... if u want i ll have a look and see if i can spot something...

And i don't know about professional essay editors/reviewers.. ... But any of u guys can get in touch if u need some help in application...
