@KshitijBaldua the name of the PDF starts with that number.... and you see the number in your payment receipt if you have saved it. R1 candidates had this number itself as their ref number for a long time. The ref numbers changed to 4/5 digits at a later stage for them. But by our time since ISB had already fixed the format for those ref numbers we got them in the confirmation mail itslelf. But that serial number is still the reference number required in the link you have posted...
Actually there were two reasons for me for not giving the usual answers.
Firstly, the panel was very supportive in trying to bring out your thought process. They were more interested in knowing instances which triggered this journey/ more related to real life examples.
Secondly, I had already made it to IIM-C, so wanted to give this interview with more honesty. It did work with ISB, but the same approach failed at IIM-B's interview.
So in a nutshell, decide your approach based upon your confidence and comfort area. ISB panel is usually very supportive and more dynamic in accommodating different views.
Regarding other answers, like, about myself, I tried to wrap the entire application in 2 mins in my intro. I actually stuck to what I had mentioned in the application. But the discussion can whiz-off in any direction thereafter. The panel ventured into eCommerce which was my domain. I also mentioned about my ECs where I had helped generate employment for 15-18 families in Delhi villages.
@KshitijBaldua though it is not verified, the ISB adcom claims the interviews to be on a rolling basis most of the times with a few exceptions.. They themselves said that in an infosession in my city.. so i was just curios of their serial numbers... thanks..
@MissWorld I mean nothing of sorts... its just out of curiosity... the way and serial in which they conduct inerviews is best known to the... but they said its rolling in the infosession i attended... so just checking... none of the reference number/ serial numbers have an impact on ur interview call chance... they are just for bifurcation and do not give out any indications/results as such...
@vjmannur .. I think you are right cuz some people are yet to get the verification mail.. and if interview invites had been sent to all, we would have a deluge of posts for that by now.. I think we can safely assume that interview invites will keep coming throughout the month of December and perhaps later on too.
@p.neha 9146.. no idea... but in 143129, 14 stands for CO2014 and 3129 is the serial in which you applied.. i bet you applied on 30th November... so you are the 3129th applicant this year... they had around 1300 apps in R1. I applied quite early and my serial number is 141359....
