@vjmannur .. Where did you get you app serial number. I can't find it in the PDF version of the app i downloaded.
it's on the first page itself

@KshitijBaldua the name of the PDF starts with that number.... and you see the number in your payment receipt if you have saved it. R1 candidates had this number itself as their ref number for a long time. The ref numbers changed to 4/5 digits at a later stage for them. But by our time since ISB had already fixed the format for those ref numbers we got them in the confirmation mail itslelf. But that serial number is still the reference number required in the link you have posted...
@harichids Of course! But feel I can do much better in my next iv given a chance :(
@harichids @dr.ramya .. I am not sure about that.. I know couple of people who applied in R2 and have already got the interview invites.
@KshitijBaldua could you please ask those people to share their app serial number... the six digit one i just explained?

well.. one of the ref no's is 15155

@KshitijBaldua no... not that ref number. The one that starts with 14XXXX. It is the name of the pdf application that we download...
@KshitijBaldua app serial number.. not the reference number...
@vjmannur .. I will check in a couple of hours and let you know.
@rochak22
Actually there were two reasons for me for not giving the usual answers.
Firstly, the panel was very supportive in trying to bring out your thought process. They were more interested in knowing instances which triggered this journey/ more related to real life examples.
Secondly, I had already made it to IIM-C, so wanted to give this interview with more honesty. It did work with ISB, but the same approach failed at IIM-B's interview.
So in a nutshell, decide your approach based upon your confidence and comfort area. ISB panel is usually very supportive and more dynamic in accommodating different views.

Regarding other answers, like, about myself, I tried to wrap the entire application in 2 mins in my intro. I actually stuck to what I had mentioned in the application. But the discussion can whiz-off in any direction thereafter. The panel ventured into eCommerce which was my domain. I also mentioned about my ECs where I had helped generate employment for 15-18 families in Delhi villages.

Feel free to ask more questions

@KshitijBaldua app serial number.. not the reference number...
@vjmannur so you mean app serial is important not ref no....right?
@KshitijBaldua though it is not verified, the ISB adcom claims the interviews to be on a rolling basis most of the times with a few exceptions.. They themselves said that in an infosession in my city.. so i was just curios of their serial numbers... thanks..
@MissWorld I mean nothing of sorts... its just out of curiosity... the way and serial in which they conduct inerviews is best known to the... but they said its rolling in the infosession i attended... so just checking... none of the reference number/ serial numbers have an impact on ur interview call chance... they are just for bifurcation and do not give out any indications/results as such...
My Your application reference number is 9146.
and the pdf name is 143129_3830213.pdf

Wts the relevance of above numbers
, will i be getting any verification complete email ?
@vjmannur .. I think you are right cuz some people are yet to get the verification mail.. and if interview invites had been sent to all, we would have a deluge of posts for that by now..
I think we can safely assume that interview invites will keep coming throughout the month of December and perhaps later on too.

ok any idea when does cycle 2 interviews finally end ?

I found this on there site ,
City Dates tentative

Delhi / Mohali 17 - 22 Jan, 2013
Kolkata 5 - 7 Jan, 2013
Hyderabad & International Dec 15 - Feb 10, 2013

@p.neha 9146.. no idea... but in 143129, 14 stands for CO2014 and 3129 is the serial in which you applied.. i bet you applied on 30th November... so you are the 3129th applicant this year... they had around 1300 apps in R1. I applied quite early and my serial number is 141359....
@vjmannur .. and just to add on.. my app serial no is 141849.. no verification mail yet.

and let me re-stress on the fact that this serial is just FYIP and has no bearing or impact on the chances, time or selection of a candidate....

@KshitijBaldua i bet you applied befor 30th... in the twenties... I got my verification mail the next day itself... i.e. on 20th november....
