Can anyone help me with the companies which are offering rotational leadership programmes.to my knowledge amazon is having pathways and aditya birla group is also doing so.
From ISB's 2012 placement brochure:

This year witnessed a spurt in the number of offers for various global leadership programmes
of leading companies. These fast-track leadership programmes groom fresh recruits for senior
management roles. 87 offers were made for such roles by 27 companies - a significant leap
from 28 such offers by 19 companies last year. Participating companies included Abbott, Aditya
Birla Group, Bharti Airtel, Citibank, DuPont, GE, HCL Technologies, Ingersoll-Rand, Philips, Pfizer, Siemens AG, Luxottica Group and Yes Bank.

I visited ISB in the last week of Nov. At that time Siemens AG was conducting interviews for their leadership program. I spoke to a student who had attended the interview. He told me that companies look for 4-5 yrs of exp. It is beneficial to have a related background. The roles offered are for CEO track or CFO track (this is in general not for Siemens AG). The program lasts anywhere from 18 months to 36 months. Every few months you will be rotated through different business functions and different locations. You will be stringently evaluated after each project. End of the program you will be told which department you will work for. There are many candidates who join such programs from top B-schools all over the world. Its competitive for those 18-36 months. You don't necessarily get the role you want after the end of the program.

These jobs are very competitive at ISB. Companies shortlist you for interview based on your profile. Even though ISB has a grade non-disclosure policy, toppers aren't shy to reveal their grades and they are scooped up. It also helps to have a related industry experience. There are not many companies who have a well-defined CEO/CFO track. Each program is different. Not all programs provide access to higher management for mentoring. You have to get everything clarified at the time of the interview so that you don't end up with false expectations and they can make sure that you meet their needs.

I felt that most roles had a strong finance/marketing component. So if you have an inclination towards these areas then be prepared for very tough questions. The person I spoke to told me that interviewers asked him to write down finance formulas. I don't remember what exactly it was but it was complex. Then he was cross questioned on the individual components of the formula and scenarios. What will happen if x increases or decreases? How will you control x, y, z? He said that they recently had a class on this topic and also did an assignment so he could easily answer the questions.

The competition was tough. There were many rounds. Started with ~20, ending with 2-3. That's all I know. Hope it helps.
