@srm85 My one recco was submitted by 3rd Dec and other was offline so it reached on 5th December but they acknowledge it on 8th Dec.. I feel I will get d mail after you receive.. Btw whats ur app no ? mine is 1430xx (this no is the name of the file downloaded)..
Just got a mail from ISB regarding my concern over correction.... the verification process would take 1-2 weeks more from today's date!!!!! 
I think we are worrying too much on the verification part....has there ever been a case in the history of ISB when an applicant did not receive the verification mail? If you have submitted all requisite docs and uploaded all necessary information, I don't think there is a reason for worry...lets not get spend out on nervous energy....we will need ample of those in the coming couple of months...

@Aniket_87 How can I forget that day... I submitted my app around 5:30 PM after staying awake for 30 hrs trying to get the video essay right. I was so relieved after submission.

I think you are absolutely right the pattern looks like this only €Ś Looking at your app ref no it seems u submitted your application in last few minutes... Mine no is 1430xx(submitted around 10PM) and srm85 no is 1424xx (submitted 5:30PM).. I feel 3500 will be total applicants...
@joyNick Even my app no is 154xx.. But I am talking about the no you get as a name of the file one download after submitting.. Is 142xx that no ??

To add to your point. After payment is successful, the application is compiled in a pdf file. I think that the application no. is assigned somewhere between payment and pdf creation. Someone said that 90% apps are submitted in the last hour (don't know how accurate this is), so there might be close to 4500-5000 applicants this year. If you consider app no. to be an accurate measure of that.
@riddhibasu Ok. Did you apply using ur GMAT score or you took CAT this year? I was also thinking of applying but don't want to pursue a 2 yr MBA at this stage. You also have to select your specialization beforehand, which I was not comfortable with, so dropped the idea. Otherwise its a fantastic institution.
Mine is 142394, I submitted at 4:00 PM on 30th November.
