Same here. Submitted by app by 11.30 pm on 30th nov. Recos were received online on 30th nov. Still no signs of a verification mail. App login page still says "Application submitted online."

@raghupro Interesting. The reference number I got when I submitted mine is close to yours. Very close, in fact. I submitted it on 29th Nov though. Someone mentioned a 61** above. That itself is a difference of approximately 4000.
I would be really surprised if the total number of applications for R2 are just 2700.
@mvikred The 65xx number is application number which again is dependent on date of account creation :)

In 2010 total applicants were roughly around 1800 (Both R1 and R2). So there will not be a Dramatic or Drastic increase in number of applicants in just 2 yrs. So we r unnecessarily creating tense situation here! Verification mails are being sent according to ur choice for i/v. And a positive verification mail doesn't confirm a seat for i/v. So more imp is i/v call and it wil start rolling a week ahead of i/v schedule given on website. Till then CHILL and apply for other colleges otherwise deadlines will be missed!

Depends on what you did these 10 years.
Regarding interview invites, if you are invited quite early or quite late in the interview cycle, that does not say anything about the strength of your candidature, right? It just depends upon location and panel availability! Hope I'm right on this
