Guys, Finally got the varification mail..i little relieved... I guess the interview dates for international applicants can be anytime from now till mid-feb.. right ?

@delatpg @vjmannur @raghupro Thanks for your wishes guys
@raghupro can u suggest some hotels in the vicinity of ISB. I plan to arrive one night before the I/v
@punters11 All the best man!
@punters11 Price range?

Told you guys, most of you will get some kind of notification by 21st. But yeah, the rate at which they're verifying implies they are probably going to reassess candidature for i/v shortlist later. So our shortlist calls might be later.

New message from 'today' onwards : "Your application has been verified and found complete. Further update will be available approximately 5 to 7 days before the interview date for the interview location you have chosen."Previous message (until yesterday) " "Your application has been verified and found complete.Further update on short-listing will be available approximately 5 to 7 days before your interview, if shortlisted, for the interview location you have chosen"Note that " "if shortlisted" has been deleted in the new message displayed on the website
The only way to validate your message is to find someone, who has had a shortlist officially and displays the same message as yours. Also, let us know when you get the official shortlist email.

@punters11 When did you receive your application verification mail ? I too applied frm Hyd Mum ...still waiting for verification mail.
@raghupro anything less than Rs. 2000 is fine, so range would be 1000 - 2000

Damn, this is the first time I started to get tensed. ISB sent me a mail asking me to clarifying something in my application and informed me that they will get back to my application only after they finish verifying all the applications. Sucks big time!

@GameIsOn2806 on 17th

this is so crazy...i haven't even got the verification mail! last day of the third week.. shud i contact adcom for the same? puys pls suggest!

@punters11 congrats!!! and all the best!

@vjmannur interview is on 29th and yeah, I submitted on 30th Nov. And the invites are based on availability of panel members from your industry. I've been saying this all along...so make optimal use of this time to prepare and things which are not in your hands will take care of itself
best of luck for your interview......if you don't mind, can you share your profile?
@MBAspirant10 Technically you can contact them, because the acknowledgement mail clearly said it might take up to three weeks to get a verification mail. But I would suggest you to wait till tomorrow evening. Most of them have got the verification mail today I guess and the remaining might be receiving their's by tomorrow evening.

I see many fellow puys panicking over not receiving verification mails.Do you really think a premier institute like ISB won't even have the courtesy to verify your app and respond. ISB did not complain when we sat on our incomplete apps for over two months and flooded its server with applications on the last two days of deadline.I can say from my experience that the ISB adcom is one of the most pro-active that i have seen in my app journey and i am sure they must be doing all things possible to expedite the process.The verification mails sent out in last 2-3 days is an example of that.The applicant pool is usually large for ISB and time consumption is understandable.The least we can do is not to make their job more complex with our incessant mails on verification atleast.

Hi,

I received an invite to interview on 29th Dec at Hyderabad campus. I had opted for Hyd(Mum) as my preference. Is it possible for me to interview in Mumbai? These air-tickets will be damn expensive at this time!!

Anyone else interviewing that day at Hyderabad? It will be good to keep in touch with someone.

@LuckyThirteen Now that's some observation: "if shortlisted"! What is your location preference for the interview?
@z-potm first of all, congrats!! and all the best umbai is not a centre for interviews! so u will need to go to hyderabad. btw, u can even take a bus.

also, can u please share ur profile?

Puys, please help me out I really the advice of someone experienced.... I appeared for GMAT this year & surprisingly got a score of 760....Now due to family related problems, I will have to stay in INDIA but i dont want to compromise on my MBA degree.....As such ISB is my one and only option....Now though my GMAT score is good and class 10, 12, graduations marks are also above 90 but the MAJOR problem that i am facing is my work-ex....I will be having a work-ex of only 24months as in April and ISB 2013 batch has an average work-ex of 5years & the lowest work-ex being 2.7 years.... So plz tell me impartially, does it make sense applying to ISB next year? Is there any realistic chance of my conversion? Plz reply unbiasedly to this....
Congrats on the amazing score. 'surprised' would not be the word I would choose to describe myself reacting to such a high score.

Anyways, there is a reason ISB has kept the minimum workex for two years, any one having that is above the bar. So it makes sense to apply. Of course, experience wise youll be among the lighter applicants. But your GMAT acts as a distraction. So, in summary and in my opinion you have a shot, but remember the competition you're up against.
@z-potm if you dont mind ur profile??
