@asifmohammed said:IS there anyone who hasn't got a verification mail yet ? I am still waiting ...I encountered some payment probs with my card and submitted at 11:45 pm on 30th November. I am a reapplicant. 750 Gmat ..5.5 years of exp in IT.
I am one of them mate, no updates on my application. I submitted my application at around 10:30 on 30th Nov.
Anyone in Mumbai wanna get-together for a mock interview on 25th? I am having mine on 29th.
Also, I'm reaching on campus at around noon. How can I spend my time for the nest 3-4 hours? My interview is at 4.30. Thanks
@raghupro I too have got mail saying --> Your application is complete, except for your official GMAT Score report.
the thing is i have mentioned by mistake my GMAT ID instead of GMAT appointment number .
Moreover though i have reported scores to ISB in April itself when i gave exam , but i haven't received any confirmation mail from ISB that they have received my official score :(
Though i have mailed them my correct Appointment number , i dun know how much time they will take to confirm my application .

hii guys..
Sorry for joining so late.. got my verification mail yesterday..little about myself-
GMAT - 620 (its low.. i know)
WE- 2 years as of now
Currently working in internal audit at pricewaterhouse coopers, was promoted to team leader within 9 months of joining (despite the fact that i am not a CA).. handled assignments worth more than 50 lacs.. have received one award PwC... have led teams of 10-12 ppl
.. worked extensively on NYSE and BSE listed companies... completed an entire cycle of business audits within one year itself
did BBA from symbiosis.. decent GPA.. led a team of 450 ppl in final year.. was mentor to group of 60 first year students.. was part of placement cell and student council as well.. won awards in debating at national level and in sports at intra college level..
if selected.. I would like to pursue MBA in operations management
do you guys think i have even a little chance at getting through for the interview?? or should i leave any hope and just try to get a better GMAT score and apply next year...
@Ediolon said:@sahniprashant hey, even I got a similar mail from ISB and realised that i made a typo in one of the GMAT score components . Adcom folk said that they will update my app but will take time. fingers crossed and waiting. any one know of a case in a similar situation but got thru?
In any case, i would suggest that you drop a mail to AdCom regarding this mistake and request them to update the actual scores so that its on record.

@ordinary_guy said:Puys, please help me out I really the advice of someone experienced....
I appeared for GMAT this year & surprisingly got a score of 760....Now due to family related problems, I will have to stay in INDIA but i dont want to compromise on my MBA degree.....As such ISB is my one and only option....Now though my GMAT score is good and class 10, 12, graduations marks are also above 90 but the MAJOR problem that i am facing is my work-ex....I will be having a work-ex of only 24months as in April and ISB 2013 batch has an average work-ex of 5years & the lowest work-ex being 2.7 years.... So plz tell me impartially, does it make sense applying to ISB next year? Is there any realistic chance of my conversion? Plz reply unbiasedly to this....
Well, there were people in my batch who had just 2 yrs of workex. But its rare, to say the least. Whether you will get through to ISB with your work-ex depends on the kind of work-ex as well as the academic and non-academic experience in your student life. Let me know about your profile in detail and I will be able to give you a more realistic assesment.
@z-potm said:hey.....thanks guys. I'm surprised at myself that I didnt know that Mumbai is not the place where they interview candidates, considering they have mentioned it on thier websites. I even mailed the ad-com urging them to arrange for an interview in Mumbai, if possible. So stupid of me!! I hope they dont cancel my inviteFor the 2nd question, my profile:Age: 24, M, MumbaiGMAT: 740, 12th: 87.33Undergrad: Engineer, BITS Pilani, 2010, 7.81 CGPAWork-ex: 1 yr@ Cisco, 1.5 yrs@ manufacturing start-upCan anyone advice me as to how do I prep for the interview. And, how can I spend some quality time while on the campus? My interview is at 4.30.
Hey, just go round the campus and hang around in the atrium or in the cafe. You should be able to strike up a conversation with current batch students who will give you a realistic view of things at ISB. Use some of it in the interview. It just goes to show that you have done good amount of homework before coming for the interview.

Your workex is on the lower side, and so is your GMAT. I would suggest you should try better your score. But that's my personal opinion though and you should think and make up your mind.
By the way, I am ISB grad CO'09.
@sudhir3127 Hey, just think carefully why you want to do a MBA. If you wanna talk abt it, just drop a mail to me at [email protected]. I am from class of 2009 (ISB).
@p.neha Don't worry neha, ISB will update it soon. One of my friend had a similar issue as well!
But anyways, you are still on a better note compared to where I am. My application status says it's incomplete :D
Thanks for everyone for the discussion today in Hyderabad. Five of us met at Barista and had a lengthy 5 hour discussion about various aspects of MBA, ISB, our career and goals. It will bring in lot of clarity to our thoughts! I am not sure how many of us will make it to the interview round but it sure is helping us a lot!
