@BharatG You are right.. But why I asked you abt the panel mix is because most of us are speculating that the sequence of i/v call depends upon the availability of the panel members who have some relation to the profile of the candidate getting interviewed... Its just a speculation... and probably difficult to validate also.. :)

@RexGMAT I try to stay away from gauging trends and patterns 😉 I don't find it worth spending time on. And strange things happen defying all trends. Good luck, buddy !

The interview dates for Kolkata center are 12-13th Jan, 2013. As per the statement published in ISB's website on the application status page, the intimation for interview call will be issued 5 -7 days before the interview date. I guess we need to wait for the new year to begin 😃

Hey, can any puys help me with what is expected from the one word essay before the interview? What are they trying to gauge?

@punters11 They want to check whether you have written the essays yourself. So they will be looking at the words you use and your writing style. They also look at your thought process. How do you organise your thoughts on paper and write coherently on an abstract topic.

@srm85 so basically, they are checking for extent of vocabulary, grammer and coherent ideas written in an organized fashion
