I need some quick suggestion. I have done BSc and post that MMS from Mumbai University from not so great institute. But post MMS I got a decent job with good profile in Equity Research and have by now accounted for 3 yrs of work ex. Currently I am working with a well-known Investment bank on Research side. I also gave my CFA L1 in Dec 2012 and awaiting the results. I plan to give my L2 in June 2013 hopefully if I clear L1.
I was considering doing MS finance from US universities or an MBA from ISB in 2014 but I am not sure which one should I weight more. Can you guys please help? Also both the course shall require GMAT as entrance so I need to start preparing for it. Any cursors as to how should I start? Thanks in Advance.

Hi Guys What are the guesses if the interview lasts only for 18 mins.Personally I think it is less but since there are a lot of experienced guys on this forum,what can you guys make out.
@rochak22 my frnd.. you cannot gauge the chances with the length of interview; you should also provide some details about interview.. how was it, was the interviewers were satisfied with your ans, any cross ques, your profile details etc.. with all these details, we can analyze..

Unless the interview lasts less than 10 minutes I wouldn't really worry about it. An 18 minute interview may/may not mean anything. However, you would be the best judge of how the interview went based on how the panel was responding to your answers, how interested did they look etc.
@rochak22 Do not go by the length of the i/v... If the interviewers seemed convinced with your answers there is a good chance u have made the cut... All the best on the last phase of the waiting game... If only ISB had rolling admits...
@raghupro U will definitely get an invite.. Especially the reason u want to do an mba makes a lot of sense.... And I personally think why mba and why now is one of the most imp question...
