yeah man the only problem is my low gmat score (610) as on 31st march my work ex will be 7 yrs 8 monthsi am applying for the first timecurrently based at Ahmadabad and have chosen hyd for interview
IMO too much is made out of GMAT score when it is just one of the parameters.I am not denying its importance but it still can get compensated if you score on other fronts.People with higher work-ex especially get benefit of the doubt on low GMAT score since they remain away from academics for quite a long period(Given you are well on academics in your pre-work ex days).That is why the app process is much more refined to look at your all round profile and not decide on the basis of of 1 god-damn test which is the case with most CAT-allied colleges.If they have called you for an i/v means they are interested in you and you must give them reasons in your i/v to push for an admit.I read an article by one of the adcom that they look at the strengths of a candidate rather than weaknesses.

@delatpg I totally agree with you... The adcom will look at the high points in your career... if you have high points that make you stand out and also you potray these in a confident manner through the process u are sure to land an admit...
