The interviews are supposed to happen till Feb 7th so you have to keep your hope alive till then. There is a reason why the interviews are happening for such a long duration, they obviously cannot accommodate everyone in the same week :)
Hi All, For ISB 2014 what is the correct time to appear for GMAT and when shall I book the date as I want to avoid last minute hassle. If I try to register myself and book today will I get date around April-May? I'm from Pune. Thanks in advance.
@srm85 I have a close friend of mine from CO2012 who opted for placements but couldn't fetch a job as he was looking for some niche segment specifically. He headed down to Singapore to find a job on his own now. So the stat of 767 doesn't really conclude anything
There seems to be another confusion. I gave an example that ISB might let a few seats go vacant but they do not compromise on quality. For reference I quoted the Placement Report of CO12, which also provides a snapshot of CO13. Puneet thought that 3 students might have taken entrepreneurship that is why the figure of 767. This might have come up due to my reference to a placement report. So I clarified that issue in my post above. Hope it's clear now.
can you share 1 your profile 2 date of submission 3 date of verification completion

Hi. It seems like a good plan. I took my 1st GMAT in May last year and registered for it in Jan. I think you should be able to register too. It's good that you are planning ahead. If you get a score to your satisfaction in May then you can concentrate on the essays and reccos. You can aim for R1 if everything falls in place. I would advise that you get GMAT out of the way before you start your essays, because you have a lot of time in your hands. The application portal will open in Apr/May giving you a headstart in application process if you manage to get a good GMAT score.
To check for registration dates, log on to mba.com and look for schedule an appointment. You should be able to see the available dates.

Well, i have been into channel sales for last 2.5 years...worked in post-sales services before that....7 yrs exp for you is quite good.....are you applying for the 1st time?
@puneet124 Oks Prep is going ok. I am writing down responses to questions from CO13 interview debrief PDFs. Feels like I am writing my autobiography I still have to rehearse those answers. I write well but don't seem to get the right words while speaking. So working on that now.
As for the 1 word essay. I think it's an exercise to test how you think on your feet. Whether you can write something meaningful on an abstract topic (personal opinion). They will also check your thought structure and organization of the essay. They want to check whether you wrote the essays yourself looking at your language and writing style (as told at an info-session).

below line from your post is quite applicable for me too
" I write well but don't seem to get the right words while speaking. "
@geeteshaiyer Hey I am also from Chennai working in automotive sector. My experience falls a bit short of the peer group here. Same anxiety here. Just keeping my fingers crossed..
Arrey yaar I can't see anyone with work-exp less than 4 years getting an I/V call....seems like a danger signal...
I can understand your anxiety but guessing such patterns will only add on to your anxiety. There have been people with 2.5 years experience who got called for an interview. In fact @waterman has less than 4 years of experience and he has his interview scheduled for 13th Jan.
