It isn't humiliating in any way dude. I am sure you have a good profile overall :)

my ..710

@Abhichar u got a i/v call right.....
@Navneet1384 Not yet, I'm hoping against hope, to get one :-)

same here.. me too waiting.... lets hope for the best..

@raghupro Thanks, Raghupro. It won't be humiliating if ISB considers me for i/v. My profile is quite modest, compared to most of the puys in this forum. Moreover, I'm on the higher side of the experience bracket (13 years), with an IT Consulting background.

Told you so. You have some real good work experience as expected by me ;)

All the best to you!
@raghupro Thanks, raghupro. Its the presence of puys, such as yourself in this forum, that provides the calming influence. Else the anxiety from this everlasting wait, and all these speculation would have driven me crazy, beyond repair !!!

@raghupro Same here ...

I'm from IT services industry, decent Acads, ordinary EC, 750 GMAT, HYd(Blr). Had my interview on 7th Jan. Mr Kannan and one Alum were in the panel. It was kind of stress interview. From the very beginning they were hell bent on making me feel as if I've not done anything worthwhile in my job. I'd prepared all sorts of things, including current affairs, for the interview. But all the questions were about what I did in my job - in detail Qs about my projects and other activities I involved in at my organisation. There were Qs about my hobby, about goals, about career moves. So, all in all, I would advise all prospective interviewees to be thorough with their application.

Interview panel did not show any emotions/expressions, not sure how I fared in the interview. Mr. Kannan seemed particularly disinterested during the entire interview. Whenever I used to look at him, he pretended as if he is sleeping 😃 However, when I was asked a Q about my hobby - reading - he suddenly got excited and interested in my answer. Once I completed my answer, he went back to his slumber. After the interview me and the panel both forgot about the essay paper that I'd to submit, I'd left the building and went quite far when the guy from reception came asking for that paper. :-|

There were only 6 people to be interviewed that day - from Hyd, Blr, Chennai, Mum - all from IT. Going by the volume of applications, I'd expected the number to be higher. However, we could hear many telephonic interviews going on. BTW, the word for essay was Sacrifice.
@Gunnerforever my one word essay topics was 'happy'. Interview revolved around What I did, Why MBA, Why ISB. That's it. I don't think any interview preparation consultancy can help you with understanding your application more than yourself.
@krkunal
Since it was a weekday not many alums would have been free to participate in the interviews. As on 6th January I believe there were around 8-10 interviews being conducted every hour. I also heard that many times interviews happen as early as 6.30 AM in the morning. I guess its the weekends when the volumes spike.
If you through Pg240-280 of this forum, there are several permutation & combinations people have drawn to crack ISB stats 😉

And the kinda expression you saw on interviewers' face is pretty much the case with all panels. I believe that is uniform across... A poker face :)
@krkunal dont worry!!my i/v panel also had mr. kannan and he remains neutral throughout... even i observed that..just pray hard all of us get thru!! 😃 all the best...
I guess with so many people online on this forum 24*7, the wait to 15th feb is gonna be a bit easier... I must say a bit :)
@raghupro am also interested in pursuing my enterpreneur skills...u can ping me if intersted to join...
@Prerag Yes one person in This forum Mr. venkat has already appeared for his IV on 6th Jan.
