It isn't humiliating in any way dude. I am sure you have a good profile overall
I totally agree with Raghu. GMAT score is not everything, its the overall profile that matters. ATB
@isbaspirant12 Make that 5, I have one as well. .. Didn't think we would have that many. Let's catch up tomorrow to figure out the details
@gkgk sure dude.

The Cat results take the bite off the everyday GMAT tension. I hate to see so much of anxiety in the Indian applicant pool. The most competitive country in the world. Sigh.

@MBAspirant10 hey i don't think a school of ISB's stature would think like that. I don't think they would let go of a competitive candidate just because he/she already has an admit from another B-school and give the seat to someone who "needs" it. I am quite sure ISB knows they are as good as any of the IIMs (a debatable topic πŸ˜ƒ ) if not better and I am sure anyone would give a good amount of thought to choose between ISB and IIM. I'm not saying they're gonna love me, but i am just trying to make a point. If you have an admit from one of the IIMs or any other premier business school in India or abroad, it establishes your competitiveness.
@Abhichar We're all on the same boat. Thanks to this forum, some really amazing people here help curb the anxiety of interview calls πŸ˜ƒ

Hi Puys, what do you guys think of the batch size at ISB? It's going to be more than 700 this year (combining both the campuses). Do you think it's going to be challenging / too competitive being part of a batch this big ?

@Abhichar @raghupro @Aniket_87 thnx Guys πŸ˜‰ relieved to know that others have similar scores ..Myself stuck wid 660 ...
and yes i know that Scores dont matter that much ...

Thnx

It is always good to have more competition and a bit larger batch. Most of us are taking a break of one year from our well set professional life, so why not get the most out of it?

With 770 people (considering all seats are filled) we will get to interact with peers with immense experience in diverse fields. The knowledge we get from such experience is priceless.

@raghupro am also interested in pursuing my enterpreneur skills...u can ping me if intersted to join...
Sure man. Will ping you soon :)
@punters11 actually i live in pune....
@isbaspirant12 have the delhi/ncr calls been already made?
@asingh.rathod , if your profile is really good they would want you.. 4 lakhs is a big amount , think carefully and decide...
@garima.agrawal No not yet.. I know u r also waiting for ur i/v call for Delhi.. Don't worry we are just trying to prepare ourselves in advance.. ATB
@Manegger , In fact I was laughing when I saw the analysis by newpapers like which category of candidates scored how much....
half of the candidates ( no offence here but my observation ) dont even know the *real* pains of being in a post-MBA job. MBA is considered to be a magic bullet which will automatically erase the career pains and put you in high(movers and shakers) league.... A dose of reality is definitely required.
@raghupro , I am a bit apprehensive about placements and I think the smaller the pool the better, need to be and learn with people who can be there for you when required and you for them..but yah diversity wise it sounds good.
