did anybody checked out wid isb for mohali calls!!...dey are over so still some hope is left...i cn see hyd people getting calls for 3rd feb....for mohali the last interview scheduled date is 1st feb..

any updates wid anyone??

My interview date and location shifted from Mohali (Jan 26) to Delhi (Jan 30). So IVs would be scheduled in Delhi. So be hopeful guys. Fingers crossed for all the deserving candidates. :)

I read somewhere that i/v panel has only your essays....not acads or gmat score etc??
What all do they have with them? Do they have last year's essays for the re-applicants or the feedback that ISB provided etc? Anyone.... @raghupro ?

i am positive they have the entire PDF of the application. I saw that clearly in their hands. I am also a re-applicant and i doubt they have access to previous applications. Just the info in your current application. Hope this info helps

I remember from my interview... panel has printout of the whole application..

I am a little late in posting this. But better late than never.
I/v on 20th Jan 530PM Delhi
I hated the fact that mine was the last slot for the day. The disinterest of the panel was clear. One of the guys was really very sleepy. Having that said, it felt like they rejected me as soon as they saw me enter.
In terms of qs, started with general goals and stuff, and then i got grilled over my long term goal of being an entrepreneur.
ADVICE: Please do extra research on your entrepreneurial venture if thats what your goal is. Questions like why would it work (to which i answered) and then they say sorry i dont think it will work... i think people have similar options available i dont see why they will come to u (i did not expect this at all as i quoted examples of similar businesses doing extremely well)..i argued some more.
Next q which totally took me by surprise: how will you market your venture. I had not prepared this at all 😞 and having no marketing background, i came up with a very so-so answer, dont know if it was at all convincing. (I should have admitted i have no knowledge and hope that ISB will broaden my marketing knowledge)
After that general stuff about work ex, roles responsibilities etc. again got grilled about some specifics about my role.
Over all, i was grilled. The guy before me said he wasnt. He came out happy, i came out with total uncertainty.
Its understandable that panelists are tired and maybe disinterested as they are interviewing since early morning. but i think it is highly unfair for students to face such panels.
With that said, i have full faith that ISB panelists will not let the disinterest effect the final decision, and will call me if i DESERVE it.
Not too hopeful as of now.
