Ha ha ha ha,.... "Stay Confident Stay Foolish" LOVED IT :)
@vbinani I also got the same response when I called.

There were a round of calls that went out couple of days back, but have not heard anything since...

One guys from Hyderabad who attended mock interviews with us got a call for Feb 2nd. He is a BITS Pillani graduate with GMAT around 700 I guess and runs his family business.

Finally received the interview invite for 3 Feb... I had almost lost the hopes because of the low GMAT score I have.

The interview location is given as Hyderabad but I have requested for Skype as I am at international location.

@dream1
Congrats and ATB!

Can you share your profile?

In case we did not receive an i/v invite, they will send the rejection email after 15-Feb.Btw - anyone here who received an i/v invite for Delhi/Mohali in the past 2 days?

I hope what they said today is correct. However, its now time to focus on other things in life. I've been wasting much of my time in anticipation of an i/v call. Be it with or without ISB - "I will be what I will to be".
My MBA journey has started to feel like a long highway blocked with traffic. Only a few people are going to get home in time, and Ive spent all my ride freaking out about making it as one of them. I have seen so many cars on my way honking horns , overtaking . bumping each other and Ive just gotten weary. All this while sitting in my car struggling in the drivers seat to keep my drive steadily moving on.I think its probably time I parked aside for a while, and switched the AC on , and listened to some nice songs. Let the honkers pass. Ill lookout for an longer yet pleasant way home.

anyone who had an interview on Jan20th at @isb2012 hyd with panel7?

@Manegger no matter what.. drive safely and reach home πŸ˜ƒ .. Home is where the heart is.. does not matter which way you reach it and how long you take.
Offtopic: How many of us here have opted for the Hyderabad campus over the Mohali Campus and what if you were offered admission to the campus not of your choice.. would you still take it ?

Abt me.. I'd be a 99% NO if offered Mohali campus as location was my main constraint for opting ISB Hyderabad but never know how i'd think when the results actually come

@klewless I used to have the same stand that I will let it go if I don't get Hyderabad. But they came up with campus switching in between the terms, meaning you can switchto a different campus for different terms. Also if you compare the faculty assignment you will see that all the top class wharton, kellogs and LBS are assigned to Mohali. I am not sure if this is deliberate. But bottom line is that isb doesn't want any one to think mohali is any less than hyderabad and they are doing everything to convey that.

yes i do understand that ISB doesn't want to differentiate between Hyderabad and Mohali but if someone who is keen on majoring in IT, Mohali wouldn't be the right choice as most of the IT related electives are offered in Hyderabad only. Faculty per se, yes ISB doesn't treat both the campuses differently...

@ammo44 money shldn't be the motivating factor to chose the campus

@klewless What if ISB asked for extra 25 lacs for Hyderabad campus, then?
lets not get into hypothetical scenarios....

Had my skype interview yesterday. Background: Medical device engineer (MS in US) with 6 yrs work ex looking to move into healthcare consulting for emerging markets. GMAT 730

Interviewed with admissions director and a current student. No typical questions - why MBA? why ISB ? were asked. Mostly focused on my current role, impact, conflict resolution in teams and my mentoring initiatives. Interview lasted all of 20 mins which includes 2-3 delay in the beginning due to some skype issues on my front.

Don't know how to read it. Onto the excruciating wait until Feb 15. Good luck to all puys still in the process!

Finally, an invite.

Where? : Hyderabad
When? : 3rd Feb
So? : any help with interview material and advice is sincerely appreciated.

I work at: Infosys
I stay at: indira nagar, Gachibowli. So, if anyone wants to hog some home made dosas or have a chat with coffee. Buzz me(pm).
