@neelgandham We(8-10 folks) all are meeting this Sunday in Barista, Jayabery. PM raghupro your details, if you wanna join the mock interview.
@Juris - DONE!
@atalb I got shortlisted!!!!!!!!! i was not expecting it but I did. So MORAL: GMAT score below 700 is not going to blow your chances of getting an interview call! yipiee Ok.. so now time to pull up my socks and prep for the i/v at Hydrabad.
@atalb @punters11 any suggestions for I/V? is there a forum where in people have given their experiences??

@reecha Congrats.. There was one pdf file floating around where ppl hv shared i/v experiences.. just go through this thread and you will find it..

ATB

@@neelgandham I am joining you too. PM me the venue and time details. lez catchup

Anyone has any idea as to how many people got into ISB in Round 1 this season?
Any R1 admit who can comment?

Also, is it possible to get scholarship without applying? ( i did not write the scholarship essay nor uploaded my family's salary details and other financial supporting documents)
@z-potm pehle milne to do, phir scholarship ka sochna...

But, to answer your question, every applicant is eligible for merit scholarship even without the essay. The essay is for need-based scholarship
@reecha hey can u share your years of experience, GMAT and when you received the call?

@vjmannur I have Female, 5.5 yrs of experience, scored a 670 on gmat and i received the email today... it could be with lot of hullaa going around about having more female candidates in management program.. but i think i did read about somebody else (i think it was a "he" πŸ˜ƒ ) with a score below 700 and getting an i/v call..
@reecha i have always heard abt this benefit of being a female applicant but i still know a lot of female applicants who got rejected even after an extremely good i/v and gr8 profile and gmat score. I think esp for IT pool.. there is no advantage of being a female applicant!

Do not intend to demoralize you in any way.. ur NIFT thingy makes u stand out.. btw.. i know a female with gmat score of 650 and from NIFT getting into r1.. so all the best! give ur best!
@punters11: ofcourse :)

anyone with answer to the 1st question?? how many people were offered admission in R1?

what are u trying to ask here?
@reecha Firstly, all the best for your interview...
As for interview prep, apart from the pdf of Co2013 I/v experiences, be thorough on stock questions like why MBA, Why ISB and also why the career goal. I have read i/v experiences on PG which revolved entirely around career goal. You can also expect any question from specific achievements in essays, a hypothetical situation to tackle and guesstimate questions.
