GMAT score is valid for 5 years. But some B-schools prefer it to be less than 3 years such as IIMs for their PGPX courses. Therefore, its advised to check for individual B-school for their preference before applying. However, its 5 years for ISB.
Many profile evaluation requests in a couple of days. The opening of portal has really set the ball rolling.Good luck, fella aspirants:).
10th marksheets are not required for guys.. I think you might need it if you apply for a scholarship..
Check the portal for details.
I am a male candidate, and while the ISB does not require the Std X certificate for the application, it does require it for registration in case you are admitted - checked with the AdCom π
Planning to write GMAT! Wrote the CAT..screwed up...2 years of work ex in IT... Computer Science Engineer..Any leads on how to prepare? I might be looking at 2015 and beyond!
Hey guys, I completed my CA on January 2010, but articleship was completed by July 2010. But as I qualified CA prior to completion of artshp, will it be regarded as Post Qualification Experience? as I have worked as a full time CA during that period too........

The best thing to do in this case would be to check with AdCom themselves.

If you have talked to ISB admin, then you can go ahead with showcasing it as your post grad work-ex.If still not convinced then get it clarified,in writing ,by shooting a mail to adcom at [email protected].
Guys from Pune applying ISB in this class, please get in touch. we can have similar group in pune where we can discuss application, essays, interviews etc.
Hey guys, is there any option to get in touch with current students with a similar profile as the applicant's? How to go about it. Thanks a lot
Yup you can get in touch with a current student with a similar profile. Just write to Adcom stating your intentions and they will help you connect with a current student.

Is this group so boring :biggrin::biggrin: that Pune needs a special group π I am sure everyone here will benefit from the future Pune group conversations if they are posted here π
Thanks a lot. Actually you are right that technically its not work experience as I was not a member of ICAI during that time. But the admissions officer cleared me that you can count it as experience as in my certificate, the passing date is January 2010. so was in dielemma. M qouting it as experience, rest is to be decided by the adcom. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!
Guys, Would applicants from 2010-11 be considered as re-applicant. I tried to recover password after so many years but it says my id doesn't exists(I have my account re-created). My concern is if ISB doesn't save this info, how they gonna evaluate vis our last application. Obviously the fourth essay gonna speak our side of story{ }. Are there people who gonna apply after a long gap???:lookround::lookround::lookround:

Hi Ashish, ISB has an application number, which uniquely identifies each candidate. This number is preserved and while re-applying you need to provide during application.
You cna select your year of previous application and then provide this number. This way your application will be referred by Adcom
Guys, now that the application process has started, if you need any help (profile evaluation, essays etc), give me a holler on PG. Send me a pm, and I will surely get back to you (it might take a couple of days, but I'll surely get back). If you want a chat over phone, I will be happy to do that too.

Ah - but even if they've deleted your online profile from 2010 (or locked you out for that matter), they'll still have your application file from that year - in a digital format, I'm sure. But it'll be available with them for reference.
Obviously the fourth essay gonna speak our side of story{ }.
Yes, that's right... But remember, this year your whole application package must be consistent with what you wrote in 2009. Or if there's a difference, then you should be able to bring out the reasoning.
So tell me... do you miss saving your application package?
Are there people who gonna apply after a long gap???:lookround::lookround::lookround:
Yes, quite a few, I would wager - including yours truly. I had applied in 2008 and got a ding in the interview :-(. Gunning for an admit this time!
And yes, I did save my entire application package as a single pdf
I am re-applicant to ISB's PGP. In fact, applying for the 3rd time... I got dinged in the 1st round in my 1st attempt. Got dinged in 2nd round in my last attempt. Now, my first question is: Will it be major drawback in my candidature for the programme??? :(
Also, I have around 10.5 yrs of experience in IT/ITES industry. Would it be again a drawback and I would be expected to apply for the Executive programme instead????? :(
As for my interest/ inclination, I want to be a part of regular classes and would like to go through the constant rigour throughout the course, collaborating with highly enthusiastic and intellectual minds. :)

If you search this thread.. you will get to know the story of a guy who got in in his 4th attempt..On the face of it, i do not see a drawback.
My query is about the ISB Mohali campus. When we apply this year, we would be eligible for both Hyd and Mohali.
What are the no. of seats in Mohali as compared to Hyderabad? And is the Mohali campus comparable to Hyderabad with regards to faculty, infrastructure, facilities offered, placements, hostel accommodation, etc?
And finally, with a 700+ GMAT score and decent academic record until HSC, how much does a 55.2% in BE weigh against an applicant's chances of getting an admit to either campus?
