@Kode_A Here you go bro.. It would be nice if you can pool up some details about in-store product placement techniques and some details about how much retails charge for special showcase of products. Also if you can find some real good numbers of NFC based product engagement being used by some companies. From the reports I know people are spending around 50 seconds at a product instead of typical 5 secs when brands are trying to engage their customers using some NFC based engagement techniquesHope this engages you a bit and helps me out too
Bro I would be lying if I say I understood 100% want you wanted to say.
Shall PM you about this.
Shall try to.

Waise have my own thing starting with @punters11 @ammo44 :D

Hi,Can anyone tell me whether ISB, when asked ( after 15th Feb) provides the reasons for the rejection of the candidate?

Yes.
Not only that. They shall also be supportive in advising you what changes you should focus on to increase your probability of getting in when applying next time.

They strongly believe that there are good candidates who apply little too early and hence do not make it.

Personally I too think MBA application is a 2 - 3 yrs process. Its not just about GMAT score or knowing where to go post MBA.
Its about having an extra ordinary life. Few of us have it. But most of us can use this time to find what we are passionate about and do our best to live our dream.
Hey Puys, Had my interview in Mohali campus yesterday. Here's the list of queries I was asked. The list is not complete but these were the main themes with some sub questions asked:

1) Tell us something about yourself
2) Why are you looking at an ISB MBA if you are planning to stick to the same domain
3) Your experience is been throughout in IT, not other industry do you think you will be able to do an MBA
4) What do you think is the future of cloud in India
5) Describe what exactly does your business group do
6) Flipkart had bought a startup , can you name it
7) Do you think Indian e commerce companies are making money
8) Why do you thin Flipkart bought the company
9) What is the size of the ecommerce market in india
10) What are in your opinion the three primary challenges that Indian e commerce companies face in India on the consumers side and what are your solutions to it
11) Any solution you can think of solving the last mile connectivity problem that Indian ecommerce companies face
12) Was given a problem scenario around client and team handling
13) Any questions for us

There were zero questions outside of my work which was quite surprising especially since I had sports plastered all over my application . Also the interview hardly took 20 minutes or so and hardly any cross questioning so not sure what to make of it. Overall felt satisfied with the interview though as got all the factual questions correct and answered most of the subjective ones the way I wanted to. Obviously though as time goes on am continuously reflecting and thinking, OH I should have said that or added more info or given an example. But for now its only time for reflection and a long nervous wait .

Feel free to ping me in case you need any additional information
@muksmba Can you share your profile?
@rochak22 Sure, My profile:
XII - 82%, Maths(H) - 70%, MCA - 85%
Work Ex 9.75 years (2 yrs international) - Am a solution architect in an IT consulting firm
EC- Average - Primarily sports (soccer, cricket, badminton and softball) and member of placement committee and seminar committee in college
Finally, GMAT - 710/Q49/V38 - AWA 6.0

To all those who are going to have a skype interview, I thought I would share this. Though most of this is common sense but I guess that is what we lack when needed :)

@muksmba

Well, the same happened with me, hardly 20 minutes. Questions focused on my work and only work. Some factual questions. Nothing related to my ECs, my NGO work, my initiatives in office. No cross questioning and after which I could not gauge anything... which way did it go?

And yes its been a long nervous wait and will continue until 15th Feb late night. I have been waiting since January 6th.

;)

Hmph!!! If only I could know whether my profile is already read and rejected or yet to be read... ISB... Jo bhi karna hai jaldi karo!!!

Any more calls reported for today guys?
