An additional query, does it help if u know people on the board of ISB as one on my client is on the board of ISB and some are on the board of other international schools
for himself here on in
@srm85 said:I would say... Then spend some time introspecting and define your dreams clearly. And then decide whether you want to do an MBA, and how wud ISB help you. As all my fellow applicants will attest, you will learn a lot about yourself when you go thru the application process. First it's the GMAT, then the essays and finally the interview. You learn a lot about yourself and by the time you finish the essays you will have some degree of clarity regarding what you want to do.Since you can afford it, I would advise you to work with some international MBA consultants. Their tools will help you in this process. They can also help shortlist the schools that best suit your requirements. Finance might be the best specialization for you. With your exposure, you should target LBS and the likes. Start with the consultants like Accepted.com/ClearAdmit/Stacy Blackman. I think they do a free evaluation. It will help you get a better understanding of the whole process. An international MBA might be the best option to get international exposure. Also the alumni network will be truly international. You might scope out some markets and might want to expand your business beyond India. Your network will be really helpful.Next 2-3 months would be the best time to get GMAT out of the way, because ISB admission portal opens again in the 1st week of May. If you are done with your GMAT by that time, you can spend enough time on your essays and target R1.All the Best

While the tension is building, I appreciate the efforts of a few who are trying to keep spirits high.
Talking of "spirits" and "high".. I wanted to ask all the applicants how will they celebrate if they get admission/iv calls. It would be nice to be specific and name your poison
For me: If i get an admit, I will go out with friends and get drunk something expensive like Black Label.
All of you are invited to join too
If i get a ding, I will sit in a shady bar alone, and get drunk on something cheap Blenders/Royal Stag or even Desi Tharra..Narangi maybe
So irrespective of the decision, I will be drunk on 15th night.
P.S:I understand not every one "drinks".. please feel free to share details about your non-alcoholic poison.
