There is no guarantee. But if you work hard on your verbal scores then 30-40 points is easily achievable :)

I am saying 40% glass is empty and you say 60% is full... I like the attitude :)
Yes there are still few cycles left and what I mean by my statement is, the placements are not very rosy this year and more ppl might come out this year with out the offer of their choice.
But still I am not trying for an MBA thinking about the next job I will get, but the position I need to be in after say 10-15 years and I guess atleast 80% in this thread think in same lines

60% placements is not bad at all given that ISB has few more placement cycles left. This year is tough so we need to factor that in as well. In my opinion, there will always be a fair number of people in a class in any given year, boom or bust, that will not get their "dream job". I am more in agreement with MBA as a longer term investment in your future. But, yes, we must be cognizant that a bad start post-MBA may make it that much harder to get to your longer term goals.
