As if going to office wasn't torture enough in such days of anxiety .. such a bad practical joke !!!!! Let it remain a technical glitch 
I am not sure about others but I dont have a backup school if I get dinged on 15th. Are there any good schools with april/may deadlines or do I have to wait till july for the cycle to start all over again?

NUS app ends on March 31st (course costs as much as ISB), INSEAD R1 for Jan'14 admit ends on March 31 too.
Not many interview updates coming in.... Are there any puys who have interviews pending this weekend?
@tripamb Mine is on this Sunday, probably the last one to be interviewed. Not sure if that will work in my favor or against...
@rohitsa I don't think you must worry about the timing of your interview as an indicator of your chances of selection. Best of Luck for Sunday.

@TheMask03 The words given are usually not that tough. In case of any doubt, you can always clarify the meaning. They don't hold such an action against you. Also what helps me is to link that word to my work or leadership qualities. Makes the essay much easier to write. Best of Luck.
Thanks guys for the immense help and inspiration. I think my preparation is going on the right tracks and hopefully I'll have a good final go on Sunday.

even i don't have a backup school if i get dinged on 15th... n day-by-day my productivity at work has gone for a toss.... just waiting for the 7 working days to pass by n then see how am i gonna cope up with wat's in store in for me !!!
@TheMask03 I don't think it matters at all. The idea of the one word essay is to simply assess your language consistency, so that the panel is rest assured that the essays have been written by you and not by somebody else. Beyond that, as far as my understanding goes, the essay plays no role in assessment of your application. (please correct me puys if i am wrong here)
If you dont know the meaning, you could just create a story as to how much you have come across the word, but never bothered looking it up in the dictionary etc 😃 just a thought.
The word i was given was 'Forum'.. i first wrote what it means, gave an example..like the world economic forum. and then to fill in the space, i went on to describe just how many people on my FB i have whose first name is 'forum' :-P. ended it with a PS saying i hope the essay doesnt really count! (so if the essay does count, I am pretty much screwed)
The i/v panel did not even look at my essay. in fact, i forgot to hand it over to them, and they called me back just as i walked out of the interview room for handing over the essay sheet.
