1. Brother, tension na le..I just checked the FB group, most of them are Co2013 but not Co2014 i.e. they are current students. I believe the group name is misleading.
2. AFAIK it is fake. I scrutinized the image he uploaded umpteen times and found one small glitch. That confirmed that the image was fake. My personal opinion.
3. I am not an expert on this subject, sorry.

Agree with @waterman on 1 & 2, although I did not scrutinize the image or anything, just rejected the premise at face value.
And 3) Great Lakes is okay if you wanna settle and start your MBA in 2013. Also, aren't you based abroad? You should try the schools in Singapore, HongKong, etc..

1) I myself am aware of few current batch ISB students present in that FB group. So don't read too much into it.
2) The image might be part genuine and part fake. My guess is that he might have got hold of a genuine offer letter email from some R1 student.
3) I have done a bit of research on Great Lakes but finally planned to drop out of it just for bad ROI. Compared to schools like ISB the pay scales are very low and lacks that brand value as of now. Also I am sure for most of us this MBA will be the final part of our educational life and will define our career forward so be wise and be patient about it. Do get your MBA done from some better school.

I am in the Co13. I am also part of the Co14 FB group. So don't worry about the numbers. There are a lot of folks from Co13 helping the Co14 students with any queries they have. R2 admits aren't out to the best of my knowledge though they are expected soon.

Great Lakes is a decent college.
If you shall be ok with 10 - 12 lacs/annum kinda package then GL is a decent place to be.
It indeed is no match with ISB, but is decent.
Better than SP Jain's both Global MBA (Dubai Singapore one) and 1 yr course in Mumbai.
Have you applied for XLRI's GMP course ?? that is a much better course than Great Lakes.
And if there is time, do apply for IIM I's 1 yr PGPEX too.
But as others are suggesting if you can afford to wait for another year and re apply for ISB (if things dont go well this time) then even I would suggest that.

@rohitsa I had got into SP Jain's GMBA last year.
It is decent course. At least enough to not let it go if you have the admit in your hands.
But I was literally forced to not join, give ISB another try.
Got interview call this time. I feel it was worth the risk.
Thanks a lot for the advice guys. I'll have to do serious thinking on whether to join GL or not (although I haven't got admission in GL as yet) but this will become a bit easier after 15th. So I am going to put this thought on hold till Friday. Let's hope that I won't have to visit this thought again.

The placement stats will be out only when placements are completed. ISB has a rolling placement process and it is not yet over.
@waterman i can understand 😃 i simply close the window once i check my updates. That stops me from refreshing it again and again and again... 😁 then when i get bored from my work (which is pretty frequent) i open the window again.. conquer your addiction !!
