Bhai and @rochak22 bhai

I was able to send you the PM. Must have been a tech glitch.
Anyways shall answer it here coz you asked here.

My personal Reasons are -

1. Between Xl's GMP, GL and SPjain's PGPM, SPJain is the youngest of them all. Its still growing in stature and reputation.

2. Majority of the students and company that visit the campus are from IT sector. Even though this is true for all courses and colleges, the % is really high in SPJain's PGPM

These were my only reasons.
Fees wise and location (MUMBAI) wise PGPM has a big +

I would rate PGPM over SPJain's GMBA if one is more than sure that he wants to pursue career in India.

And now that GL has increased its fees, may be its not as "value to the money" course as it was earlier.

Some unsolicted advice (again!). Going to B-school is about two things - Branding and Networking with your classmates. You can get a pretty decent understanding of concepts by reading "Dummies" books in the respective subects - it is *not* about what they teach you in school. Don't shortchange yourself by going to no-name colleges. If you can't get into a big name school - save your money and continue with your job. my $0.02.
Couldn't agree more!

Link: You choosing ISB over Wharton coz of reputation and not coz of financial reasons. Yeh Desh prem hee hai na ?? :)
And Chitti Aayi hai of Pankaj Udas is one of the most powerful song to get the NRIs back to their Desh
@MBA-2012 : Just to give you a live example of how UPenn can make a difference to people's perception, you can see @MBA-Husband posts. The moment he mentioned Kellogg, his unsolicited advice suddenly becomes more solicited and you tend to view it more seriously. This is not to say that ISB lacks recognition but it's more of a Wharton of India and if you see globally, it is still no match to any Ivy-league school

P.S.: My $0.02 to the Unsolicited advice rally.

No, I think I lost you guys somewhere. Wharton over ISB/IIM because of the brand name. And ISB/IIM over Wharton due to the finances.

Of course. That is a well-known fact - a brand name like Kellogg, Harvard, Wharton (or any other M7 schools for that matter), will put a lot of weight to whatever one says

Will ISB surprise us by declaring results today?

I have become so jobless, here at work. My manager knows I'm leaving in a few months. Offloaded work to a new joinee

My apologies too. When it comes to finances, you know what's better for you.

Fellow puys can partner and turn VC to fund @MBA-2012 for UPenn if they do not get positive outcome from ISB. In return, she can guarantee jobs of one's liking when she makes it to top management of a firm post-UPenn....
P.S.: Sorry, I can't partner as i already have a plan and it's a toss between this plan and ISB.

I like that idea

My manager is not filling or approving my appraisal forms saying "what's the need? u won't be here by the time the cycle ends."

how optimistic and lazy.
