@crackster , @Moonlighter and all moaning that ISB is unfair, imagine selecting 770 best candidates from a pool of 10,000 odd candidates. It is not an easy process. If they had to do it randomly, they could have just asked anyone to conduct interviews. Why bother calling alumni and all.
If it was constituted of randomly selected people, it wouldn't have been best in the world. All the admits deserved to be admitted. You are probably 771st best and wait for someone to drop out before you become 770th best person in the pool. Then ISB will be fair. right!!!

I have conducted Interviews all my professional life. The challenge is daunting for ISB.
But the same exists before other B Schools also.
Would u say the process followed by them is World Class ?

One more honest submission to this forum. Last year, I waited for a waitlisted entry and finally got the "cannot admit" letter. I never cried then but today I cried that somewhere I felt there would some not so lucky souls feeling the same thing I felt last year.

@Moonlighter and @crackster I am sure we can argue on it for hours and still reach no conclusion. Instead, why don't we just come to the terms that we haven't been selected and start planning something constructive atleast for one year before we re-apply again.
