@Kode_A : Dude....you liked the fact that i didn't get through.....@punters11 : Bitter pill indeed but all i can infer is that almighty wanted me to get into a 15th ranked B-school rather than 34th without giving any more thoughts..........

Again, some of you might question that the list of students http://placement.isb.edu/profilebook/2013/Viewprofiles.aspx is for the entire class and not for unplaced students, then please count the number of profiles, which is close to 290. ISB delete names from online profiles once someone gets placed. Hence, currently 290 students placed after day 4 :'(.
Are you a current student? Co2014 admit ? How did u come to know about this process of ISB?

Please stop confusing people ...i am a current studen ...and i have no idea of placements in so much detail...
I know current students who are placed and few who aren't and Tia portal follows the pattern. The placed students aren't there in the list and unplaced students are there in the list.
Now its time for me to bid adieu to this CO 2014 thread. Its been wonderful 3 months with you all. I once again congratulate all my fellow puys for getting admits this year and those lyk me who did not get admits this year, do not lose Hope, stay positive & work hard.
I got a chance to know & interact with so many wonderful people here through this thread, I thank you all for your valuable feedback & support. I would be happy to stay in touch with you all. Also I have made some wonderful friends for life through this thread and many of them have got admits this year to ISB .
I pray to GOD that you all achieve success & fulfill all your dreams in your life. Good luck
@ISB_Blogger I do not think this type of discussion is warranted at all. I am a current student and whoever has got this list of profile should know that there are few students in this list who are placed as well, some are not in the process (in exchange or have other plans). The placements this year have started much earlier and we are doing fine as of today given the market conditions.
If you don't know placement statistics, thats your problem, and a matter of shame as well, given that you are current student as well. Learn to network and learn at least about your own institute placements at least. But I am sure that you know about number of unplaced students, then why don't you help out prospective students with that number. And if you don't want to help, shut up.
That was quite rude .... But i would love to know who are you π :... Whoever has confidence in ISB's track record will still join.... But i request you to tone down a bit ...
@ISB_Blogger It is always good to come with a clean slate and get the facts verified from the right sources. ISB would always provide the right numbers once it is official. Also, ISB is not just about placements, though it is in important part. All of you who choose to join ISB would get to know more about this. Enjoy the time now and relax. Coz its going to be quite a ride come 14th April onwards :)
@ISB_Blogger @ISB Blogger, all I would say is its a call every individual needs to take regarding what they would like to achieve from ISB. If placement is the only thing someone wants to get out of this place, so be it. And also placement is a very individual thing, based on past performance, profile, role fit and thousand other things. Hence, a decision should not be based on numbers or anything. It is better left to each one. I rest my case.
And to add to that, there have been IB roles which have come to campus. In fact Fin jobs have been quite encouraging this year. We are still in the placement process, hence any assumption as such would be futile to make.
