For those who didn't, random fundae of keeping on dreaming, God has planned something better and the works. Just that if you booze and believe that you have in it to crack it (am sure you ALL have it), have a stiff drink, watch a couple of sitcoms and get to work.

Funny how there is so much talk about drinks & booze. Is 'drinking' the only way to celebrate or to commiserate ? If so , it is indeed a sad state of affairs.


For those who have succeeded, why not donate a small amount to "Cry - Child Relief and You as a sort of "thank you God for helping me".

For those who have stumbled, pls stop using the word "rejected". Try again.
ISB is merely a means to an end and not an end in itself. There are many roads that lead to the proverbial Rome. Retry another route.

Hey guys... I have a query which might seem a bit odd...The thing is, I have a social enterprise running at Delhi and I would love to give it one more year. I have been selected for the Mohali campus with a scholarship but I was wondering if I could write a mail to ISB to defer the admission by one year if that's possible. I know I should not have applied to ISB if I was not sure of joining, but between the time of applying and now, a lot has happened. I would really not want to miss out on ISB and I thought this would be the best place to ask. Does anybody know if somebody has at anytime deferred their admission due to any reason? Thanks...

hey..isb does give deferred admission for valid reasons and you will still have to pay the advance admission amount this year to hold your seat...the only thing im not sure of is if ur scholarship will still be valid...logically it should be but i don have that info..just call them and ask the formal process

@raghupro i am a re applicant and i took the feedback last year..and for me it was extremely helpful and meaningful...i woukd recommend every one and anyone to use this feature...
For me..it was pointed out that my essays were not upto to the mark and hence no iv call.
The person also specifically helped me understand what they wanted to see in the essay and that it was missin in my essays...
So ...its a very personal thing..but for me it was immensely helpful and maybe the key reason for me to get an iv call this time round...and most importantly u have ntn to lose so do get feedback.

I received an admit for Hyderabad...

My profile:

Exp: 6 yrs, 9 months in IT Consulting (Big 4)

GMAT: 740

Engg: BE (Electrical) VJTI, Mumbai

12th: 94.83%

10th: 91.06%

Good extra-curriculars and overseas experience of 22 months in NY, USA (where I am currently based)

To all those waitlisted in R-2: I was waitlisted in R-1, so I know how that feels!! Keep your fingers crossed and wait patiently... Good luck!!
