you're right. I also contacted ivey to verify whether they received my recommendations, and they did confirm back to me that they have received them. They are very helpful when it comes to that. The only thing I'm suspecting for why they haven't got back to me with an interview invite is that they were probably waiting for my GMAT score. I've requested GMAT to send my scores to Ivey on the 22nd of September, and I've applied to Ivey on the 2nd of October. Some people told me that it could take as long as 3 weeks before the schools can receive the GMAT scores. Is this true? How long does it normally take from the time you request GMAT to report your scores until the time when the school receives the scores?
Whenever you report the score to any school and it is made available to the school ,you get a mail from GMAC with subject line"Score Report Fulfillment".It took me 5 days to get this mail after sending my request.
I submitted my app today but the next page only asked me to submit resume by mail no mention of transcripts? so what shud i do now only send them resume or send two separate mails?

well in my case, I received that mail from GMAC almost immediately after I had made the request. The question that I'm wondering is that how long does usually take until the school receives your score after you make the request?

Dude you are confusing things here there are two mails that gmatcustomerservice sends one when u order score to be sent and that has the subject confirmation of additional ... something somethng and when the college receives your score you get mail with subject score report fulfillment
Still no package. Got the official email about 4-5 days ago with a congrats for the 2011 admit. It said once the dates for the 2011 class are finalized (dont know how long that takes), a final package will be sent. I will update you when I get it!
hey Tom,
Congrats man. You finally made it to Ivey (I am not sure if you remember me, but we ar ein touch via Facebook. I remember we had a looong talk while you were planning to apply to Ivey).
Alas, I shall not me among your fellow classmates. I couldn;t get the finances in place so had to ask them to cancel the offer as I couldn;t join them.
Let'see where my GMAT sojourn takes me from here..
Is there any space provided to upload CV on the Ivey application webiste? I started with my application and did not see any such space provided. Maybe i just missed on it, please enlighten me!

Once u submit your app, the application will ask itself for the resume YOU NEED to submit only after submitting the app by emailing them and later sending a mail containing resume and 2 transcripts

Hello Anubhav,
Of course I remember you, and yes, I finally made it after a long journey. Too bad you will not be joining us, but I believe everything happens for a reason so best of luck on your MBA journey.
Who knows, maybe we meet somewhere in the future once we re-enter the working world.

Oh seems like you are only interested in doing MBA from CANADA can you please share the reason for the same?
And I was also thinking of applying to Schulich, How is the reputation of the college? And placement scene for intl applicants? Cheers SillyFool

The primary reason I want to apply to canada is because of the liberal post MBA work permit policy there....so decided to apply to the top 4...
Schulich is obviously a couple of notches below Ivey/Rotman and queens but I wanted to keep it as a backup college incase I do not strike the other three...the fees at schulich is manageble, but m not syre ablut Ivey/Rotman/Queens...

well see at ivey and queens both colleges have one year MBA so ROI is great
total cost will be arnd 90000 CAD but in Rotman it will be around 130,000 CAD
I am not sure abt schulich , but i think its also having 2 year MBA
My main reason of applying to Ivey was one year MBA and no requirement of TOEFL, queens requires toefl so i am heading to other colleges.

weel if you consider Ivey..the total expenses inclusing stay n all will come to $ 100000...you will get a 1 year Work permit upon completion of the program...incase of schulich...the tution is 60 + 40(living) = 100..so in this repect both are same...however because its a 2 yr mba,you get a 3 years open work permit upon completion fo the course...which is lucrative..in ivey it would be 1 year...which is a little less for getting your PR...
you can request queens to waive toefl if your undergrads was in english...thts what i am planning..also application is free there...so i would adise tht you apply to queens..its better placed than schulich in terms of reputation...

Where did u get this info regarding this PR duration? Is this a general policy ? Can u please share the source of the information?
Yea mba@10 , you got a point there. Schulich has a 20 month program including a 4 month optional summer internship/break.
I guess if you get into Ivey, it does not make much of a difference because, you will get a top job most likely and then the work permit can be extended, isn't it?

well that makes sense but the silver lining is that most of the companies recruiting are very much biased to hire people with PR..i haveard this from most of the alumni that i interacted with...
