The social initiative club of Lbsim today organised an Informative and Encouraging session on “Pollution and ways to curb it” for children from JAGRITI. Children were very excited for quiz after the educational video messages were shown to them. They took part in the quiz with full zeal and got to learn how they can help save the environment.

24th Nov, 2016 witnessed the unleashing of the theme for the Annual National Level Inter-College Management Technical and Cultural fest TATVA at LBSIM, Dwarka Campus.The management grid came together paired with the enthusiastic presence and excitement among the first and second year PGDM students.
The students filled the campus with lights. Candles and sky lanterns were lit together to fill the sky with light and let it shine out of darkness. The team did not fail to astonish the students with the announcement of the theme for Tatva,2016 – Annihilate to Rejuvenate!Imagine! Had there been no destruction, how would we admire the beauty of construction? Had there been no failure, how would we appreciate the flavour of success? Constitution Day in India is celebrated every year on 26th of November as the constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26th of November in the year 1949 and came into force on 26th of January in 1950. To honor and remember the father of Constitution, Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, we at LBSIM also celebrated this occasion. The preamble of the constitution was read by all students and faculties to pay tribute to "the great men and women" who gave the country its constitution, and remembering the "stellar contribution" of its architect.

Plithos, The Debating Society of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, New Delhi proudly presents the prestigious Annual Smt. Lalita Shastri Memorial Debate Competition on 5th December, 2016.

The competition commemorates the birth anniversary of Late Smt. Lalita Shastri, wife of former Prime Minister & our principal guiding force Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri.

The Intra round for the competition was held in our campus on the 25th of November, 2016. The winning teams are moving forward to the Inter round to represent our institute at this prestigious event.

LALITA SHASTRI DEBATE COMPETITIONThe Annual Lalita Shastri Debate Competition was held at LBSIM campus, New Delhi on 5th December 2016. The competition commemorates the birth anniversary of late Smt. Lalita Shastri, wife of former prime minister and our principle guiding force, Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all over India. After a preliminary shortlisting five teams made it to the final round who presented their ideas and thoughts on the motion “The house believes that Black Swans are becoming The New Normal”.
The panel of judges consisted of Mr. Ravi Manoram, alumnus of Delhi college of engineering and the writer of the novel” when the road beckons” and Dr. Anupriya Singh, Associate professor, LBSIM Delhi.
The competition started by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by the fierce battle of words by the participating teams. The refutation round saw questions popping up from judges, participants, and the audience as well.
Dr. Arya Kumar, Director LBSIM, in his speech encouraged the students to regularly participate in such events. He also mentioned that it is not the winning but the enthusiasm to participate, which is more important.
Finally, the winners were declared, Team Neanderthals and Team Invictus bagged the 1st and 2nd prize respectively. The winners were felicitated with a cash prize and a rolling trophy.

The students and faculties were left in awe after the much awaited renovated cafeteria got inaugurated at LBSIM, Dwarka on 8th September. 


The event was graced by the presence of Shri. ANil Shastri, Chairman, Shri. S.P Sharma, Chief Administrative Officer and Dr. G. L Sharma along with other faculty members. 


Our Hon'ble chairman, emphasizing on the student driven attribute of our institute insisted Miss Shriyaa chana, vice president, Management Grid to cut the ribbon and inaugurate the cafeteria formally. 


The cafeteria will add to the state of the art infrastructure of the institute with a well equipped gym and a recreational room for the studenst to catch a breath in their ever busy schedule at the institute.


With a seating capacity of over 100 and multiple cuisines, the spacious and captivating place will make sure the students never take a day off.
