Greattt news ... As expected Mufi bhaai has done MDI proud... his team comprising him, Supreet n Anand Trivedi have won the big prize .... yess trip to New York to advise Indra Nooyi on the way ahead for Pepsi!! :)
I guess now Mufi bhaai has no choice but to accept that he is a Strategy stud as I had said some posts back. π
Also Team MDI comprising of Bikram, Ankita and Arindham from Class of 2008 has grabbed the second runners up spot.
All 6 of em have also got PPIs from Pepsi Co.
Greattt Day for MDI and a proud moment for all ManDevIans !!

1) It feels good when the company's board waits for you too arrive for lunch..(PS: you're late cause you have a mid term to crack before you go to smaller things like presenting your analysis to the top management) 2) It feels great when the CEO holds the lift so that you can get in. 3) It feels greater to know that you're good enough to kick anyone's A$$. 4) It is the GREATEST when you're the reason why all your college mates walk with high heads and puffed chests....

Our campus is reallly beautiful and now with the weather being just perfect the effect gets multiplied manifold. Its spring time and the campus is full of beautiful sights of flowers of different hues n colors.
here's a collection of some of the flowers that can be seen on our campus:
With Placements n Farewell Party of the Seniors done, year books n souvenirs handed over ... we are now all set to bid adieu to our wonderful Seniors today!!
the convocation will be held at 9AM and then most of them will go back to their homes away from their home on MDI campus ..the "Change Masters"
Its mixed feelings for us too rght now ... on the one hand we are happy for their placements and completion of course ... but on the other hand we are sad that they will no longer be a part of our daily existence from today onwards!! :(
Today was a landmark day in MDIs history, with the foundation stone laying ceremony of The S.P. Kapur Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Mr. Azim Premji, Chairman, Wipro India was the Chief Guest for this ceremony. Director of MDI, Dr. Sujith Basu and Mr. Surinder Kapur were also present. For the uninitiated, Late Shri S P Kapur is the father of Mr. Surinder Kapur who is the Chairman of SONA Group (:--:) This Centre is poised for huge success with lots of students on campus showing keen interest in taking the entrepreneurial route. We already have a senior from Class of 2007 who had opted out of placements and he is operating his venture from campus which is in the take off stage. The Centre will provide a more formal way to support entrepreneurs like him. Some fellow ManDevIans are all ready to start their venture on campus soon which will be supported by this Centre once its up and running. The vision laid out today for the Centre is a very unique one and I am sure you will hear a lot about this Centre in the years to come. Adios! :) PS: Sanjay Kapur, the man whom Karishma Kapoor married is the son of Mr. Surinder Kapur too and ya she was there on campus too adding to the beauty of the campus :))

The Convocation was an affair to remember. The happy faces of proud parents and our seniors thrilled at receiving their degrees n some over the moon on getting gold medals were a joy to watch.
But very soon this joy had to subside and mood was sombre ..... with seniors starting to leave the campus ..... and it started to finally sink in that they will no longer be there with us .... I could rewind some of the best moments that I have had at MDI courtesy the seniors ..... n m sure they must be having countless memories associated with their own batchmates ....... some couldnt bear the pain of separation and broke down ... while others tried to act brave and control their emotions ....... but I could sense it each time I saw packed bags waiting outside Change Masters n seniors spending their final moments with their friends. From now on they would be entering the crazy n frenzied lives of managers of top notch corporates .. .and they will never be able to spend all those "chill moments" they had on campus with their friends free from all worries for almost two years!!
Moments like these put things in perspective that even I have got just one more year left here now ... so yy not make full use of each n every moment and ya I am already dreading the thought of having to go through this moment one year down the line!! :(
M dead sure these are really the best days of my life!! :)
The campus has a deserted look...2nd year guys have left the college and have moved into the big bad corporate world.... 1st year guys have left for their summer internships... I have already started wondering how life would be when I pass out next year... the last one year has flown away before I realised... but it has been a fruitful year..made new friends, did some good projects and ya learnt some bit about my self....
Its been a very fruitful year for Mufasa. He has his own orchard now For others like me who have left Gurgaon and back to home now, its a welcome break though we miss the daily football and bhasad:) in college. As for work, the heat is building up
Well guys me too missing college so much.. But hey chennai as a place ia atleast 100 times better than Gurgaon (i kno many wont agree to this, but be to chennai once n u will 4 sure realise how disciplined a metro can be). Filhal jyada load nahi hai @ Summers.. so its really tough to kill time at office.. atleast in college kuch nahi to Border Gavaskar Tourney to thi hi tp ke liye..
i got a total travelling summers.. was here in noida for 2 weeks, now heading to bangalore.. going to chennai and hyderabad from there.. i am loving it
