It is indeed heartening to see so many new PGites from our insti.............But make it a point to post a few in this thread too and never let this one go beyond the first page. We plan to attain 'top of the mind recall' for FORE via this thread. Will keep posting for about a month or so myself, then its over to babaji and co. to keep up the good work !!

hi everybody.ok i m interrupting the light talks goin on.but i need an urgent reply frm any1 at fore i have 2 choose betwn fore & nirma.any1 with an unbiased opinion is welcome.+ i wana know what have been the actual plct figures(avg, lowest, highest) + what hav been the CAT score for GD PI calls.......
Not much to choose btwn the two.........
I think the avg salary is pretty much the same (give or take 15-20 thousand). Dunno abt Nirma......but for FORE, the highest was 8. (19 guys getting more than 7.5). Lowest at for was 3.5 i guess, cause no companies offering beow 3 is allowed at FORE.
NIRMA leverages its engg col brand name, so can expect more tech cmpnys there. FORE would give u a wider spectrum oriented towards Finance and Marketing and unlike NIRMA it has a system of allowing students to take two offers from campus (A boon if u r among the upper segment).
And yeah, locational advantage........delhi would give u better opportunities ( for placements & ............. ). M in contact with my friends at NIRMA, franckly it is a case of "the grass on the other side being greener......."
