I think the avg salary is pretty much the same (give or take 15-20 thousand). Dunno abt Nirma......but for FORE, the highest was 8. (19 guys getting more than 7.5). Lowest at for was 3.5 i guess, cause no companies offering beow 3 is allowed at FORE.
NIRMA leverages its engg col brand name, so can expect more tech cmpnys there. FORE would give u a wider spectrum oriented towards Finance and Marketing and unlike NIRMA it has a system of allowing students to take two offers from campus (A boon if u r among the upper segment).
And yeah, locational advantage........delhi would give u better opportunities ( for placements & ............. ). M in contact with my friends at NIRMA, franckly it is a case of "the grass on the other side being greener......."

ok but there must be vice-versa cases too. well what i m worried about r the actual plct. and call cutoff figs. since the instt. remains silent on this count, on brochure + on its site. another thing is the lack of internet availability at hostel( leased). doesnt it sort off damages the image &rep; fore enjoys. i m also told that there is no mess facility also. students take breakfast + lunch on instt cafeteria. what about the dinner and on off days?????????? pls. enlighten me on this count as i m quite worried and confused due to these points. your neutral comments would help me take my decision bet fore & nirma .lookin fwd 2 a neutral comment . thanx !!!!!!!!!!

In fact, this time we had very diverse companies coming to our campus for summers.......i know the inside story at Nirma too and believe me its not the same there...!!

And as for ur lunch and dinner, i refuse to believe u wont find a hearty meal near ur facility in Delhi even on a national holiday!!!:satisfie: There is this heaven named Katwaria Sarai nearby, which would see to it that u find anything u ever want during the two years..........

hmm...right sir fore could have made better marks has it built up its own hostel....and yeah even many institutes do not publicize their salaries or placement stats (like JBIMS , NITIE etc.)...does that mean they are not great....even I am too confused why they do not adore media buzz in this era....

i will tell u what i had hear about fore, the premier and the most impt and talked about was the faculty at fore, i spoke to this iift prof and he was actually brushing off all my optios saying"equally bekaar hain... job to bekaar he milegee" he paused when i asked about fore and said, "yes the fac there is good"
now my opinion- QIA, fac, placement figures, in retro i think i made a b'ful decision

hey......well...first things first.......a warm welcum to all the juniors first. And yaa, kudos to baba, ritesh, bryan n co. who have been doing a great job out here despite going thru the grind of summers. I too have come in friends to hold the mantle and keep the FORE flag fluttering...... sandeep.
HI ALL I've finally been cleared thru the 1st waitlist. SORRY to break this camarederie with the mundane ques. of placements in finance. can the seniors pls find out abt the placements in finance..the profile offered, the median sal if possible..the curretn scenraio , the fianance faculty. I'll be really greatful if some 1 can unambiguously give me specific info. on this. Thanks and ATB!!!

come on candlez there are many great philathropist who fund various institutes throughout india...agree that mr. karsan bhai is one of the great personalities and a gem of a man but they do not interfere in the admission and placement process...they just fund the education and value addition to society
(in fact our own pharma college is promoted by mr. pankaj patel(cadila Rs. 2 crore) and new MBA college promoted by shri indukaka (ipcowala Rs. 2.5 crore) so as far as my knowledge goes they only promote and feed the system rather than churning the administration)
so hope we remove the cloud over clouts over this personalities....

BTW i have a history of being violent, specially with guys, i had received several warnings in my school days to not "hit and run" (in the literal sense).. my physical stature grants me the ability to do that... ps- actually my friends were shivelrous enough not to hit back...thats the inside story..
