FIIB became the only Business School in North India to successfully host World Champion of Public Speaking, Mr. Vikas Jhingran on 19th Nov 2012. In the interactive session, FIIB students, staff and faculty members along with Toastmasters from across NCR heard from the Champion himself how to write speeches and presentations that are world class.
Infact, Utkarsh Garg, a student from 1st year also had the unique opportunity to present a speech at the occasion and receive guidance and help on how to improve from Vikas himself!! It was truly a meaningful session. Sharing pictures soon
@akshita.FIIBYes, i totally agree with you ma'am, it was really awesome to hear guiding speech from Vikas sir. Moreover, the evaluation of my speech by sir helped me to learn from my mistakes.

Feeling proud to be a part of a session like that. Not just helped me in knowing about what a speech really is but also how a speech is similar to probably everything in our lives. Maybe while looking at the bigger picture we tend to miss out on those surprises that live has in store for us... Start living your life.. Glad to say that today I felt Delhi!!!
FIIB students went to China earlier this month for a study tour. Now 1st year students leave to explore Dubai for their study tour. Check out China pics athttps://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.486091401415181.115939.321194021238254&type;=3
The Session with Mr. Vikas really helped a lot in terms of public speaking. He was there on the stage for about 2 hours and it went very well. His one speech about "The Postcard" was very much inspiring for us.
@UTGARG You did a fabulous job that day. You got the courage to speak in front of an auditorium full of Toastmasters. That was the best part , because you got a chance of being evaluated by Champion of Public Speaking.
You took a stand for FIIB and due to which we also knew what should be correction in our way of public speaking.
@prateek.fiib agreed! Utkarsh did a good job, and now has a big opportunity to work hard and improvise.
@surbhitankur we hope your batchmates understand the importance of these opportunities and more students attend the event when we organise them in the future

Gooooood Evening... Had one on the best Alumni event yesterday "Alumni Award Night"... was lucky enough to be a part of it. Got a chance to meet all the seniors, super seniors, super duper seniors and the ones who were there as students when FIIB started.... Yes Alumni from 1995 batch till 2010 all marked their presence at the occasion... All enjoyed.. a lot of memories were relived, lot of old friends shared their pranks and fun loving moments again and also met the faculty who taught them... Seeing all this went all emotional as our Batch is all set to pass out and I am going to miss all my friends.. would like to thank FIIB in advance as they would be providing us a platform where we would meet our batch mates even after years ...
