FIIB Case Research Center (FCRC) successfully organized 2-day Students Case Writing Workshop- the first stage of Katรกstasi 2013. They were exposed to Project-based Case Writing (ProCaWrit) and Students appreciated the approach very much as to how this method helps them converting their project work into a business problem or issue, and helps them conceptualising a management case around their work.
FIIB's Center for Service Innovation and Business Agility (CeSIBA) successfully organized a daylong conference on Business Analytics and Digital Platforms (BADiP). Speakers from both academia and industry gave talks on how digital platforms are transforming organizations and how business analytics can be used for competitive insights. The speakers included Prof. Mikko Ruohonen (University of Tampere, Finland), Prof. Murthy (INPAQT, Netherlands), Mr. Bobby Thomas (senior manager, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, financial crime and fraud detection), and Mr. Ch. Murthy (former VP, IBM Research). FIIB's very own Prof. K.B.C. Saxena, Prof. (MS.) Vijayeta James Lall, and Prof. Swanand Deodhar moderated the discussions and also shared their insights. The conference was attended by participants from corporate as well as FIIB's student fraternity. For the participants, the key takeaways were the exposure to the emergent domains of business analytics and digital platforms as well as practical understanding of their usage.

Do not get panic....in Finance,, IQ Capital has done with the interview,, Citibank 3rd round online test is going to be held within few days.... American Express telephonic interview is done,, waiting for results which will be out by 2nd week of jan. that's not all even IB compaies are hiring finance people and more companies are coming in Jan. n all are not insurance companies..., so opportunities are there. Even in Marketing- Dish Tv, Reliance Network and many more are going to come ..... So, be patient our all seniors will be placed till Feb. and interview for summer internship for 1st year students is going to start from March..... so be ready..!!
