Student hub is a recreational space designed for students to unwind and relax after long hours of studying. It is a place where students can come together to engage in various indoor games like chess, carroms, table tennis, and pool. It is a perfect space for students to take a break from their academic pursuits and socialize with their peers.
Apart from being a place for recreation, the student hub also serves as a workspace for students to work on their assignments or projects. To make the experience even more enjoyable, students can order food from Copamocha, a café located within the student hub. Copamocha serves a variety of snacks, sandwiches, and beverages, making it a convenient option for students who do not wish to leave the premises for food.
The student hub is more than just a recreational workspace; it is a place where students can come together, build friendships, and engage in various activities. It provides an opportunity for students to bond over shared interests and develop a sense of community. The indoor games, food, and social atmosphere of the student hub make it an ideal space for students to relax, socialize, and build connections with their peers.

The Indian state of Andhra Pradesh includes the barrier island of Sriharikota, which is situated off the Bay of Bengal. It is the location of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, the Indian Space Research Organization’s main launch facility. (ISRO).

The distance between IFMR GSB Sri City and Shriharikota is one hour drive (approx 44 kms). Students of IFMR GSB had the privilege of witnessing the ISRO’s heaviest rocket Launch Vehicle Mark 3 (LVM3 or GSLV Mark 3) which took off from the second launch pad (SLP) of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota on 23rd October 2022. Students stood a few kilometres away from the launch pad in a secure location for the rocket launch. The Rocket launch was handled with considerable caution as a potentially dangerous event.

Feelings of amazement, apprehension, and excitement were experienced when witnessing a rocket launch. Such thrilling and historic experiences await you!





The Tirupati district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh is home to the Hindu temple known as Ekam Temple. The Ekam temple is a 13 minutes drive away from IFMR GSB, Sri City.

The 12-acre temple complex is home to a number of tourist attractions, such as a meditation centre, a sizeable prayer hall, a cultural centre and a library. The use of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials in the construction of Ekam temple is one of its distinctive characteristics.





The lakeside in the college is a hidden gem of our campus, offering stunning views of the surrounding nature and a peaceful escape from the busy academic life. As the sun sets, the sky turns into a beautiful canvas of colors, painting the water with hues of red, orange, and yellow. Walking along the perimeter of the campus, one can enjoy the fresh air, the chirping of birds, and the gentle breeze that brings a sense of calmness and relaxation. It is also a great spot for hanging out with friends, have some peaceful alone time, or simply sitting by the water and chatting. Overall, this perimeter is a perfect place to unwind and connect with nature, making it a cherished spot for many students on the campus.






Abhyudaya is the flagship management event of IFMR GSB. It is an annual fest comprising of everything fun and games with plentiful of edification.
This year’s theme “Bio-verse,” recently conducted with a focus on sustainability. The event aimed to educate and create awareness among students and participants about the importance of promoting sustainable practices in the business world.
The event kicked off with Ganesh Vandana by Team Raga, musical club of IFMR GSB and the lamp lighting ceremony. Siddhart Hande founder of Kabadiwala Connect was the chief guest for the inauguration. He spoke about the role that businesses can play in mitigating the environmental challenges. Participants got an opportunity to engage with him and learn about sustainable practices in a more hands-on way.
This inauguration kickstarted a three day exciting fest loaded with lots of fun and learning.

The second day of Abhyudaya was witness to a laughter riot with the one and only Gaurav Kapoor. It was a side-splitting stand-up comedy performance from him. His witty observations on everyday life to his hilarious impersonations, he had the entire audience in stitches throughout the show.
With his unique brand of humor and hilarious anecdotes, Gaurav Kapoor brought the house down and proved to be the perfect addition to our already exciting lineup of events. It’s safe to say that this was an experience that no one will forget anytime soon!

Fashion Show organised by Team Abhyudaya was one of the major highlights of the three day management fest. The theme of the fashion show was Biodiversity. A total of fifteen students participated dressed in offbeat colors of Blue, Green and White.
The audience was captivated by the poise and confidence of students who strutted down the runway. They seemed to embody the essence of nature itself, with their fluid movements and serene expressions. Some of them danced and swayed to the rhythm, their outfits flowing and swishing in perfect synchronization on popular music tracks of various genres.
The organizing committee led by students of IFMR GSB and SIAS had truly outdone themselves, showcasing a unique and exciting take on the theme of biodiversity.

One of the most memorable days of the three-day Abhyudaya, the college fest at IFMR GSB was when Maalavika Sundar and her band The Madras Commune performed a powerful and soulful performance. The show held everyone’s attention so well that a vibrant atmosphere arose.
Maalavika took immense pleasure in performing Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayali songs. Her mesmerizing voice had everyone dancing. The incredibly talented band ‘The madras commune’, who played so perfectly that mesmerized every individual present there.

The Krea Talks session, led by the External and Alumni Relations Committee, proved to be an engaging session where students learned about the real world and business from the perspectives of sustainability, finance, and growth. Anveshi Gupta, CEO of Quest Sustainable Solutions, and Sandeep Gupta, co-founder of Bhive Alts, joined as guest speakers.
Both speakers shared their views on the importance of sustainability in business and how it creates a positive image for the company, attracts investors, and improves profitability. They discussed the need for innovative financing mechanisms such as green bonds and impact investing. It was an overall well-conducted and helpful session for the students of IFMR GSB.

The Corporate Relations and Career Services (CRCS) is the placement department at IFMR GSB, where we make ends meet!
The CRCS team of IFMR GSB at KREA University prepares students to face the challenges of tomorrow. They aim to bridge the gap between the students and potential employers by organizing guest lectures, providing training and counselling sessions, and maintaining relationships with recruiters.
As a Placement Committee member at IFMR GSB, they are exposed to a plethora of opportunities. It helps the members to develop the skills of communication, negotiation, networking, team building and management. Placement Committee provides its members with the platform to build a professional network and establish connections with recruiters from various organizations.

"Abhinay - A Drama Club at IFMR GSB a hub for the drama fanatics and acting enthusiasts of IFMR GSB. Abhinay delivers a holistic drama experience by taking care of the production of the play, including writing, staging, and publicity.
They Produce plays on various occasions, and events addressing a variety of subjects delighting the diverse arena of .Abhinay organised an intra-college event along with Markoholic .Abhinay Samrat, their Flagship event ,was held as a part of our annual cultural festival, “ABHYUDAYA,” and students from a wide range of backgrounds participated, making it a wonderful occasion and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.





IFMR Graduate School of Business provides students with a range of sports facilities to help them stay active and healthy while pursuing their academic goals. The campus boasts several outdoor sports facilities, including a badminton court which has 4 courts, a Basketball court, Cricket practice nets, a Tennis court, Futsal, etc. These facilities are well-maintained and equipped with the necessary equipment to support students in their athletic pursuits. Whether you are looking to play a quick game with friends or engage in more competitive sports, IFMR GSB’s sports facilities are a great place to unwind and stay active outside of the classroom.

The MUN Club recreates the processes of the United Nations to examine and deliberate on various real-world issues. They organize engaging debates, parliamentary sessions, and UN body discussions, where participants are encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas and work together to come up with practical solutions to real-world problems.
Recently, they conducted the Winter Parliament Session, where the delegates deliberated on the Bill One Nation One Election. The parliamentarians comprehensively analyzed the pros and cons of implementing a single election in a vast country like India and came up with thought-provoking ideas. In the end, the bill was passed, and the participants and the audience gained valuable insights from the session.

Nritya is the dance club of IFMR Graduate School of Business (GSB), a student-run club that promotes dance culture and provides a platform for students to showcase their talent. The club focuses on various dance forms and organizes events and competitions throughout the academic year. The club also performs during various events that take place in the college.
During the year 2022-23, Nritya conducted its flagship Intra College event “Chance Pe Dance” a fun and unique dance competition. Later Nritya conducted Inter college competition “Crescendo” in Abhyudaya the annual fest of IFMR GSB which was a grand success.





The IFMR GSB campus is situated in a serene and tranquil environment, surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque landscapes. The campus offers breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. The night sky is equally mesmerizing, with the stars twinkling brightly against the dark backdrop.
Along with a conducive learning environment, the campus also offers an ideal space for students to socialize and engage in extracurricular activities. Students unwind in nature to sit and chat, enjoy music sessions, and bond with their peers. It all provides a memorable experience for students.










Q-Team is the quiz club of IFMR GSB. They basically are the go-to club for all the passionate quizzers out there to be a part of as well as participate in our events.
Quiz club conducted an intra-college event called “JIGYASA” last November 2022. The quiz was based on general trivia.
As part of our Annual Cultural Fest, “ABHYUDAYA”, they conducted our flagship event, “PRAKRITI”, this March 2023, based on the theme of BUSINESS AND BIOVERSE, in which students from top colleges such as IIMs, IITs, MDI, NMIMS, etc., participated and made it a wonderful event and an experience for life altogether.




Raga is the music club of the IFMR Graduate School of Business. It’s a club that is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the love for music among students on campus.
The club provides a creative and inclusive space for music enthusiasts of all backgrounds and skill levels to collaborate and share their passion for music. RAGA focuses on organizing various events, including jamming sessions & musical events. They not only focus on people who know how to sing, but they also care about those who don’t know how to sing. Thus, they organized an event named- “Lyrical Treasure Hunt,” which was a very successful event. RAGA recently conducted their Inter college event for every musician, whether a singer or instrument player.

The Women in Business is a student club that aims to empower and support women.
The club typically organizes a range of events and activities throughout the year. These events are designed to generate awareness about various aspects like health, sports, self-defence etc and to promote the culture of respect and equality for female gender. The club also conducts various competitions which help members and students to develop key skills such as leadership, communication, and entrepreneurship and encourages their artistic talents for creative thinking.As a part of our annual fest Abhydaya ,a case study competition on real startup problems were conducted.Problem statement were chosen from old articles and participants were asked for solutions and strategies to solve the problems. With this event Creativity was encouraged to bring innovaive and cost efficient ideas.

Samarthan, the proud oldest club in the IFMR GSB and was founded in 2005, aspires to strive towards a shared objective: service to society. Their goal is to instil a sense of social responsibility for the advancement and betterment of society in order to promote inclusive and sustainable development. Samarthan provides a platform to the fraternity to provide their part of humanity back to the society.
The committee hosts events all year long, with its flagship event, the Lakshmi Bal Mahotsav, as well as other activities like blood donation drives and the Wish Tree event, which grants children’s Christmas wishes.

Markaholic is the marketing committee of IFMR-GSB. All the Marka Members are marketing enthusiasts. Their team organizes innovative marketing based events year by year. They collect innovative articles from students, industry experts and business veterans and publish them in our annual magazine titled “MarkShashtra”. In the academic year 2022-23, Markaholic conducted 3 successful events, i.e. MarkAction (Intracollege), MarkaWord (Intercollege) and Marketing Rewired (During Abhyudaya).
