of Sri Rakesh Charria Ji, (General Secretary) IMS Group of Institutions, 150+ students of BBA got an opportunity to do a Live Project at Big Bazaar (Future Value
Retail Ltd.) for thrilling 5 days at various locations of Delhi & NCR.
Big Bazzar is a brand in itself when we think about large chain of super-stores in India. It has changed the way people shop. Students had an exposure to practical things that they had learnt in classrooms in various areas of Marketing like Customer Relationship Management, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Customer Handling and new offers information and Promotional strategies. The students were handling various sections allotted to them like kidswear, home appliances, customer care, membership cards etc. Another area which was well demonstrated was Supply Chain Management. The students got to know about the inter-linkage between network, channel and end customers in the chain.
Overall the Live project was enriching which helped the students to relate classroom
teaching with real time experience. The performance of the students was appreciated by the Director, Dr. B.P. Pethiya.We look forward for many such associations in future.

Today we had a fruitful session on “Navigating the Complexities in Strategy” with Prof. Wolfgang Amann who is the Director of Degree and Custom Program at HEC Paris in Qatar. He did not just educate us on the strategies that various companies are following but also on war strategies from the British Napoleon war. He also informed us about how a strategy can create paths or block paths of a firm. With a simple language and relevant example Prof. Amann has made it clear as to how strategy impacts a firm’s very existence.
