The ninth annual The Free Press Journal (FPJ) Scholarship Awards and the fifth annual Higher Education Forum (HEF) Scholarship event witnessed a panel discussion to encourage students to become future leaders was held on the concept of youth leadership in changing India which was held in ITM Kharghar Campus on 24th November, 2018.
ITM Business school,Kharghar Team lead by Abhishek Kumar of M1 batch,stood third in the national level Stage Play and Street Play Competition organised by Nirma University, Ahmedabad. “Classic Talkies”, as the name unfolds, is a work of art, of recognized and established value; it is judged over a period, to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind. The word “Classic” translates itself to be ‘typical of its kind’.
“Classic Talkies” a TALEWIND initiative in ITM Business School, Kharghar, is a mega event that closes the year gloriously. The event, spanned over a week, comprises of activities for the students like, PR Event which is a prelude to the main event, online promotion and the final event which is the screening of short feature films, of 15minutes duration, allotted to each batch.
Following the trend since 2015, this year too, TALEWIND team prides in coming up with the event, the grand finale being, “Clash of The Titans”, where 14 batches, compete against each other in a grand magnum opus, recreating a feature film on a given Indian mythological character and their most conspicuous attribute, which would eventually help them succeed in life. These attributes as portrayed by the famous mythological characters, can easily be likened to an essential life skills.
“Classic Talkies 2018” was kick started with some brilliant “Teaser Release” by the batches on 14th December, which helped them reach the second essential stage of this event, “Music & Mime” held on 18th December, that saw the different batches, amalgamate mythology and reality, culminating into beautiful renditions on stage.
Having witnessed some of the best spectacles, offered by our students, we, the TALEWIND team now await, the magnum opus, “Clash Of The Titans” scheduled for 27th December!
On 20th July 2018, Mr. Gaurav Singh- Regional Manager, Wadhwani foundation oriented the students about how economic and social problems affects both country as well as individuals. Role of Entrepreneurs is to come up with solutions to these problems. He informed the students about vast opportunity available through the eco system created at ITM as well as through National Entrepreneurship Network. Room witnessed large number of keen students aspiring to become an Entrepreneur.

ICTMT (International Conference of Techno Management) team had organised a Collage Making Competition 2019, on the theme “Management is an Art, Technology is the Paint Brush” at ITM Business School, Kharghar. An active and enthusiastic participation was there by around 60 students. Very attractive and creative ideas were presented by the students. It was a successful event.
A three-day certification program of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt was organized for Operations and Supply chain management 2018-2020 batch from 20th December’2018 to 22nd December’2018. It was conducted by Mr L S Kannan from CSense Management Solution Pvt.
