Battle of Bands

Music is one common platform, that unites creators of different sorts. It brings together multifaceted compositions and where there is music there is tremendous enthusiasm and energy associated. Here, at ITM Business School, Kharghar there is a chance for all of us at to witness one such coming together of superfluous, super energetic music bands competing on one common arena the "Battle of Bands".

Colors, Colors and Colors everywhere. The joy and vibrant that it brings to our eyes is quite immeasurable. So here at Ekayana 2014 we gave all our folks a chance to play with colors. The T shirt painting competition was a visual treat bringing out the child and the creator inside all our participants.

International Business Batch (2014-16) brings to you #PHOTO_BUZZ Campus Photography Contest.

#NOTE:The best photo will become the cover of #IB_CONNEKT Facebook page. Winners will get a direct entry to "#Mood_Indigo" photography event.

Rules:

1) Contest starts from today 7 pm and will continue till 8 pm of 3rd December.

2) Maximum three entries per photographer are allowed.

3) The pictures should be appropriately captioned that suits the theme.

"A Magnificent Life through Science, Secret Science and Consciousness Science"

Life today is so predominantly governed by instruments of science and technology that we don't even have a moment to think about ourselves. Our souls are buried in the envelope of muddy feelings of hatred, avarice and selfishness. Amidst of such a life, some people bring you a ray of hope. We, here at ITM, feel blessed to meet the two most divine personalities in the seminar that talked about "A Magnificent Life Through Science, Secret Science And Consciousness Science " . Mr . Subash Haldar  (Sir ji) - Technical Advisor in Nuclear Power Corporation Of India and Dr. Shailja - (Madam ji) who devoted her entire life to the study of spiritual science. Both of them are a rare combination of Science and Spirituality. 

The seminar was felicitated by Prof. BVR Murthy (Deputy Director, ITM Business School). He started on a very serious note made by Stephen Hawkins "The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race." Today we see a collective dependent relationship formed with our most common electronic devices. It seems that most of us would even be lost without our phones, laptops, or tablets. What if these technologies might eventually lead to our demise? 

The mantra of the seminar was transforming human life by realization of truth and discouraging the myths of science by positive brain washing. Mr. Haldar made a comparison about the practice of management. The roots of management can be traced back to Rig Veda (more than 6000 years ago) which focuses more on human aspect whereas the modern management, which is mainly borrowed from the West, disregards human approach. This crude modern practice has resulted in non-co-operative attitude at workplace, exploitation, production loss, stress and restlessness among the managers and finally into several health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.  

He also precisely spoke about the myths related to the law of science. The most common being the structure of an atom as proposed by Ernest Rutherford which demonstrates an electron revolving around the nucleus. According to the present concept of Quantum physics it is illustrated by electromagnetic waves. Thus the matter possesses energy spectrum. Secondly about the solid state of matter where the electrons are not regularly packed but are far away distributed. 

Madam-ji spoke about the novel idea of secret science and consciousness science which relies in establishing harmony among humans and help them in their overall development. According to her the Life is magnificent if a person is efficient, powerful truthful, honest and sincere. She quoted the words of Einstein which says "Anyone who thinks science is trying to make human life easier or more pleasant is utterly mistaken."  The true effort that makes your life meaningful is you. 

The Learning: 

To manifest magnificent life one has to make all his movements in the light of truth not on the basis of perceptions and concept that people hold. For this to happen we need a positive ambiance and brain storming because whatever we do and believe is true but partially.

 Remember "The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you".

The BARCODE 3.0 extravaganza continued from morning till the night. As it was approaching sunset more and more glamour was added to the flokflore of ITM B-School.

FOOT LOOSE - The Dancing Event:

The next was the most awaited event "Foot loose". The participants set the stage on fire with their peppy moves. There were three teams in total

1) ITM Health Sciences College of Nursing team:

A brigade of six students. They took it to the cultural and natural diversity of India " Desh Rangeela Rangeela desh mera rangeela"

2) ITM Institue of Financial Markets team: A Team of 5 students. They performed a solid mash up with juggling and hip - hop.

3) ITM PGDM team : This included only triplets of PGDM - Seniors. They stole the show with their spectacular performance.

A panel of esteemed judges including Ms. Sonia Deshmukh, Mr. Vivek Nigam (ITM Alumni) and Mr. Aditya announced the winner for "Foot loose". The winners got the prize worth Rs 5000.
