Its 12.30 AM still everyone is as lively and livid as if its morning 10 AM.
Reason being the exams for PGDM courses which are set to start from Monday and as usual, no one is prepared with anything. Desperate attempts to cover the humongous course of various subjects are proving futile as sleep engulfs the poor souls the moment books are shown some respect and opened in front of the eyes.
I happened to open Economics book and crashed to sleep within half an hour for a good, long and sweet 3 hours sleep only to wake up cursing myself for repetition of yesterday's act
The midnight oils are being burned with great secrecy so that people can boast the next morning "abey yar kuch nahi ata.... 11 bajte hi so gaya " people are also being cursed and abused the moment they are being seen with books
Immediately after the exams, Nostalgia -2011 is arriving in a grander and fashionable avatar followed by a 2 weeks long holiday
Lots of stuff to study and as usual, less time ....
Off to abode of books ...
Bye
MMS Midterm exams got over today, so we heaved a sigh of relief, 2 papers a day was like commando training for many of us!!
Its 12.30 AM still everyone is as lively and livid as if its morning 10 AM.
Reason being the exams for................
:nono: : fever : fever Go away
Get well soon dear ..
we all want to see healthy Interceptor16 :)
Our first trimester is over and suddenly without any substantial leave, we were pushed suddenly into the second trimester. All are waiting for long Diwali vacation. It will be time for us to unwind ourselves and take relax after long-long time.
But before that the air is becoming nostalgic over here. We have a reason. And it is our annual Alumni homecoming event NOSTALGIA-2011. It is scheduled on 15th October,2011. The theme for this year is JOURNEY: REWIND, RELIEVE, REJOICE.
Everyone is busy. Creative hats are donned. Preparations in full swing. Decorations team working day and night. Committees are ready to showcase their work. We are ready to host our alumni.:grin:
with NOSTALGIA over, the mood is upbeat for the forthcoming 2 weeks long Diwali break. classes have started for the 2nd trimester but the sweetness of going to home soil after such a long time is something which can not be ignored.
We MMS 1st year students have our exams starting from 14th nov...its 12 days 11 papers...quite hectic but manageable...wen you come to college these days you can see many ppl sitting in libraries and amphitheatre...many students demselves are teaching large no of students to clear few concepts...seniors r busy with their placements...group study is gaining a lot of focus..
Now, we are finally back from Diwali vacations and real action is going to start. Phew !!! we have lot of work pending:shocked:. Work load increased suddenly. We have many case study presentations, project submissions and mid term exams in next 3 weeks coupled with interviews for our summer placements. Everyone is out of euphoria of Diwali vacations. But this a price we have to pay for fun we had at our home when you study in institute like SIMSR where curriculum demands 100% of your effort.
Will update more soon !!! Going into the lap of books !!

The campus is buzzing these days with the presence of corporates and students running here and there in complete business attire. Its the time of summer placements for junior batches and final placements for senior batches. The companies are lined up and so are the students :)
All the best to my senior batch and to my fellows from 1st year 😃
I had started the branded day of 11/11/11 as any other day but as the day progressed it somehow brought with it a wonderful experience.
The day was quite hectic for us and at the starting of the day I told to myself that What the hell !!!.. nothing new is going to happen..lectures are scheduled from morning to evening.....:-(
We celebrated the birthday of our course co-ordinator Prof. C.P. Joshi. It was not planned, everything was arranged suddenly. For me it was new experience of class dynamics and probably for him too. I saw the happiness and sense of belonging on his face... Kudos!!! to my class and class co-ordinators. I was very happy yesterday..
I hope we made the culture and probably batches yet to come will take it forward. Thanks 11/11/11.... It was indeed a new experience.....!!!
