it is nice to note that everything is goin on smoothly at sdmimd, but the institute is refusing to return my money according to the aicte directive..........where as institutes like imt,NM, SP JAIN are following the directive, only the sdmimd seems the exception.......they have admitted students to full strength...and after that giving various filmsy reasons for their act..........even they are denying that any institute is paying back money....where as the truth is something else...........best of luck to sdmimd in their journey to disaffliation from aicte..................

Sorry for responding late.
I believe that terms & conditions and guiding principles were clearly mentioned in the prospectus about the refund of the fee.
Secondly, believe me there is no college in India which is bounded by AICTE norms to refund 100% fee.
Thirdly, for ur information SPJain was sued to refund the admission fee of the student.... i suppose it was in year 2005-06.
My sincere advice to you, before speaking anything plz plz always read the documents which is been provided to you.

there is a limit to hypocracy of this dirty institute..............it is planning to dupe me in the tune of rs.59000, when my father called them for refund, they humiliated him.all this after a deadline set by the aicte.........i wonder whether there is rule of law in this country..........or its a jungle raj................it seems influential people can stoop to any low........cheat common people of their hard earned money....and can go scot free.....

Since u have stated the AICTE norms, i guess even I should answer using the legal terminology. The admissions for r college closed on April 15th and u cancelled ur admission on April 17th. Had u done it before 15th u wud have got a refund directly from the institute but now that u defaulted, u will have to approach AICTE for a refund and the refund wud be made to the extent of the refundable amount through AICTE. All this is written in the AICTE mandatory disclosure and i guess u must have read all this. So instead of writing here on Pagalguy pls approach AICTE if u really want a refund. No direct refund is now possible for u.

There are many people looking to this thread for info and such kind of conversation should not be there. Pagalguy is not orkut .
Anyways you all are doing a great job sprerading awareness among people.
The last time a person writing on behalf of sdmimd, simply played around and put the ball in the aictes court. But the fact remains that the institute is resorting to unethical trade practises, which is as clear as day light.This passing of buck wont help.......................probably the director and the chairman of the admission committee is thinking that they can bend the law, as I can not go to Mysore to pursue these cheats and they are sitting pretty in their den.............

I already told you to write to our Director and state the desired issue. If your problem is genuine I believe that your case wll be considered but simply shouting and making fool of yourself wll fetch u nothing.

I would like to know abt the batch profile.In particular abt the Experienced guys. What is the % experienced guys in ur batch and if possible can u give some detsils, like companies worked for and also no of years of exp etc. Just a few examples..
Further what is the scope for lateral placement at SDM. for exp guys( Say 3+ yrs in IT sector) and if possible can you giv some details abt the lateral Placement ?

I would like to bring one point to the notice of the readers of this thread. In India how many B-Schools are there whose fee structure is less than IIMs ... I suppose very few and SDM-IMD is one of them. How many B-Schools are there in India who support their students in financial terms ... i suppose very few and SDM-IMD is also one of them. If any of the reader wants the proof of what i m claiming.... i m ready to provide that too.
Boss just for the sake of your knowledge i wann to tell you that SDM-IMD is also supporting their students financially in terms of extra-curricular activities and i m one of them whose foriegn trip is 100% being sponsored by the college for research paper presentation.
Now it depends on the readers of this thread to decide whether people sitting out here are just for the sake of money or to impart quality education.

Nice to hear that SDMities are creating their euphoria in Infy too.
As far as % of experience is concerned... i think in my batch it hovers around 50% with 20% people having workex of more than 2 - 2.5 years. In my junis batch workex hovers around 60%.
Pople are having the workex in Infy, wipro, TCS, J.K.Tyre, SaintGobain, Toyota, Seimens, Thomas Cook, O&M; etc.
In my batch the ratio of eng:noneng is around 1:1 or slightly more than that.
Truely speaking till now we donnt have lateral placements but most probably we wll c it this time.
As far as placements are concerned its going to shootup this year by heaps and bounds.
