The last 4 had a good closely fought contest and the winner emerged to be the Team from
IMT-Ghaziabad and the runners up were IIM-A.

The Undergrads r also havinnn their annual fest " SIESons ". We didnt even want to enture in that crowd ... An annual cultural and arts festival ..last yr it attracted 60,000 people in all..

We had Josy Paul from BBDO India , Alan Collaco , from ASCI, Anita SHaran, Ex Head Brand Equity and Saurabh Kanwar from V Channel as guest peakers . Mr Kanwar was hilarious to the maxx and the crowd jus enjoyed every bit of it .
Tomorro we culminate with La Melange -The annual Alumni meet.Lots in store tomorrow ..

We had our Alumni meet on Saturday and how gr8 it was to meet the ppl who shared the same classroom space years back .... their camaraderie with each other. They looked like Long lost buddies... so they njoyed, shouted and clickd away to glory ..
The Bollywood Ishtyle theme worked perfectly ...to host the who's who of Corporate biggies ..Felicitation specials was thr for the 1st batch i.e 1997... and it was gr8 to see them thankin the contributions of Prof Nilakantan , also a Director with the Institute . ..
The DJ's and the hosting team of Akshay &Co; of Pirates did a gr8 job ....
We r lookin forward to a lot of Interaction with the alumni in the nex cpl of months ....
Thats how we ended virtualities .Today the mood was mixd as we entered the campus to c it all the same again sans the banners , no soul runnin arnd...so we come back to Reality-CLASSES &SUBMISSIONS; ...

The Undergrad Media guyss did a gr8 job at our own "Frames Film Festival"....and guess who did we have amongst us .... Yups the mann himself ..... The maker of movies like Rockford, Teen dewareinand &Iqbal.; ..It was Nagesh Kukunoor indeed..and wat a gr8 time was it litenign to him ..
From a Chemical engineer to directing Naseeruddin Shah to his upcomin ventures ...he was all of funna and energy ... wat a passionate guy..Must say .
The film festival also had other judges liek Mohit Suri(Director-Kalyug), Shilpa Shukla(aka Bindiya Naik-Chak De India)...

hohoo..Its been quite a while hav been here ..nex week and cumin months...we hav submissions galore +admissions not far away ... a cpl of events& competitions to go...
Anyways , yesteday was fun.... A Mini Sports day i wud call... (Tho i lost sadly in TT Dbls &Singles;).. Kudos to Ajay &team; for puttin up the show... we r schedulin the Mega Cricket tourney sumwhr month end ... as lot of things need to be co-ordinated....

For the rest of us time again came to marry the Tie &Blazer....; we were then treated to lots of Marketing Communication fundaa by Mr Diptarup Chakravarty, Research Head-Gartner Research...
he got lot of heads rollin over MarComm Fundas....
( the SIES society has now completed 75 yrs of existence and a grand felicitation ceremony is underway).

First of all let me tell you, yesterday we had a fantastic event by the Internal events guys.
Perfect timing i.e Valentines day.
We had a Rose day, awarding Mr. Rose with 3 roses to him.
And Ms. Rose with 31 roses, wooooooooooooooooow.
