please tell me the median salary at siib??:

Could any one please tell me the avg salary talked about at siib is how close to the median salary. And does Siib take in to account the foriegn placements also while taking out the the avg salary figure.??:

Coz there are some offers around 11-12 lacs (domestic)
and if the avg salry figure falls at 5 lacs then there is lot of scope that majority offers fall much below 5 lac mark.??:

i shall be grateful if someone clears the doubts and also lets us know the lowest salary offered and the number of students who fall in this range out of the total batch.:

hey man u seem too much worried abt the median n low level salary ....u shd aim 4 the highest one once u get there !!!!

well dude as i have gatherd from trusted sources( read NEELABH VERMA....aka...neelabh sir ).......median and avg are pretty close........i m not sure abt the figures though...............

Hey does the entire campus have wi-fi internet access or is it just the computer labs? If not, then do we have internet access in the hostel rooms?

neelabh , can u plz help me , I want to go for finace , however from SIIB I would get International finance... My questions are
1. What are the companies that come to SIIB for international finance ?
2. Whats the job profile like ? Do we get any hardcore finance jobs ?
3. How many students in the 2006 batch opted for finance ?
4. What are the placements like for finace grads ? I have heard that if you do MPIB from SIIB then its better to go for international marketing as most of the companies that come there look for international marketing guys ,.. IS that so ?

well dude.....i asked a senior( read dudette) during my GD/PI( and a very cute one at that ........neelabh ji dunn kill me over this ).......and she told me that hostel rooms do not hav internet access points....but their are compute rooms in the hostel( i guess thats wat i heard)...........with internet access..........and wat the heck dude.........hostel is in the campus for girls and within walking distance for guyz...........

On fridays...............and when they have sum sort of guest lectures or sumthing of that sort...............rest of the days..........dress informally but decently....
