How is SIIB for Finance Stream???

as far as preferance for engineers is concerned i don't think that there is any. although majority of students here are engineers but that is more or less due to the fact that most of the aspirants are also engineers. otherwise i don't think so that there is any preference for engineers.
i am myself a commerce student.
as far as work x is concened u definitely have an edge. SIIB do prefer candidates with more than 1 year of work x.
regarding your query about the cut offs.
yes, cut off for SCMHRD is lower comparitively coz, they have a larger intake of students as compared to SIIB.
as far as placements are concerned we have the best of companies visiting our campus.
don't worry abt the placements. once u are in u can be assured of good placements. the director personally handles the placements.

having work ex of 30 months in IT with 7 months international exp working at Israel.
Are there any chances for me to get through the cutoffs?

Hello to the current and ex-students of SIIB,
I am a prospective student planning to apply for the MBA program. It'd help me if you could answer a couple of questions:
1. Are there any schools in or close to the campus?
I have two kids - 3 and 10 years old.
2. Would someone with 14 years experience be totally out of place in a
class of youngsters?
I wish to do an MBA so I can change to a different sector.

the 9/11 batch ppl landed into d campus just a 2 week agoo...
the 1st week was a pre induction program, where for 3 dayss we learn some basics of difft subjects like finance, HR, IT skillss..also we had some management gamezz to get to kno each other ...
the 2 dayzz for for outbound trip, we were taken to shantivan place nr pune,.where we ve done some team building exercisess, by means of those activites we learnt basic mgmt and moral lessons. d nex day we wr taken to sinhgad for trek. tiring but when we reached to d top it was aweeesomee feeling...

Engg from NIT-Warangal-6.3 on scale of 10. (completed in 5 years, reason: i was called for the 5th councelling, in mid november... one sem was about to get over... carried on 8 backlogs, no provission for clearing more than 2 backlogs in one year.. so ultimately had to drop 1 year... 😞 😞 ....)

presented many business papers and business plans.
WORKING WITH "ACCENTURE PVT LTD. Mumbai" as SAP EP consultant, 1 year work ex(at the time of mba, wud be having 18 months of workex)...
I really really want to do mba this year..

2. i have had a fair idea as to why to do an MBA ??
just wanted to ask you guys is, how these things will affect my chances. Shall I even apply it or not...
i want to go into SIIB, SCM, SIBM.... only.. nothing else in the whole country.
even if not upto the mark, ready to pay for the management quota(but i m not thinking on that lines)
but i really really want to do an MBA
working hard to crack SNAP but just have a lil fear inside me...
please help me to remove it !!!

Very good "extra co-curricular".....and after my 1st year... i was always climbing the ladder of my CGPA... in my final sem i got 7.9 out of 10.

u shud know how to defend hide) yr weaknesses/bad points as u stated and also u shud know how to sell yr stranths/good points thats it....
and leave dis all apart just for noww,,,
and concentrate on SNAP if u can score good in it...other things ll foloow suit....
