"SIIB WEBSITE REVAMP ANNOUNCEMENT"

SIIB is excited to announce the revamp of the next generation web site for siib.ac.in, as of August 3-2009, the Colleges website sports a new look.

For many, a new look to the website is something that the College has desperately needed for years.

Behind the scenes, work has been underway for the last few months researching, designing, constructing and writing a new website that offers an improved end-user experience and increased functionality.

One hope for the new site is that prospective students will be more able to find information about the College.

Development work will continue over the coming months as part of the web activity to ensure that the site is accessible, inclusive and informative to a range of audiences.

We are trying to organize it in a way that is easier for the people who visit the site, do let us know what you think of the new site and more importantly, what you think is missing!

Hi Neel,
We will definitely try our best to keep each one of you( Our alumnus and prospective students ) updated regarding whatever that takes place in our college.
We're all set for the --> SIIB Leadership Series 09, this 12th September. And offcourse with some pre-events for little mastis before we get down to some serious talks in the Auditorium .

As I sit and type this at precisely 2 am, I am flooded with emotions. Just back home from the Alumni Meet in Poona, enriched, satisfied and rejuvenated. Met some people I already knew, and many whom I didnt with the mandatory exchange of business cards
I again feel the thrill of being associated with the college, which was somewhat muted because of the hectic work life but then "you can take a man outta the college but not the college outta the man".
Met the venerable Mr Godbole who remains as humble as ever, Dr Gupte, still very much the upright but loving headmistress as well as other faculty members. And yes the Juniors - The Rockstars in the Making!Full of spunk, confident and witty, seemingly intelligent infact I was told that most of them get better grades than what I could ever manage while at college :|
As announced by Dr Gupte, I have already volunteered to mentor some of the current students so that we can learn something from each other in a formal/informal interaction.
I am proud of being a SIIBling!

i got a cal from SIIB-AB .I am from IT background and not having any graduation or work ex in agri related field....will it reduce my chances of getting good placements?

I don't see any major issue over here.. And you have 2 years to color your CV and m sure events @ SIIB will be of great resource for the same.:D

PS: I am SIIB-AB 2011-13 student and not a senior.

This is around the time when most of you are busy with MBA test preparations and at the back of the mind, making choices of the dream campus you wish to be in. I recollect hard schedules to meet, tough practice tests to crack and of course fitting in the little joys of life, seldom leaves us with time to explore, interact and know beyond the little content on the web and print of the place you so aspire to be at.

We shall, through this forum, strive to take you through an average person's life at SIIB. The Faculty, Industry exposure, peers, Culture - fun & parties, the never ending and diverse activity on campus and of course the continuous value addition happening through all of this. We hope through our efforts and your continuous participation, we give you a closer look at life and experiences here.
