HELLO PEOPLE, PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME..I HAVE TAKEN THE FORM FROM IMS FOR SIIB AND DID THE ONLINE REG..BUT I DIDNT GET THE ONLINE REGISTRATION NUMBER...BUT I HAVE TO FILL IT IN A PLAVE IN THE FORM TO BE SENT..PLZ TELL ME WHAT TO DO?DID YALL GET IT??

Ok Derrick bhai, if you could have taken the efforts to flip through the previous pages of this thread, this problem of yours could have been solved. No online registration number is being generated and you have to leave that column blank.
One more thing, do not type in ALL CAPS as it is the equivalent of shouting in net etiqutes, and also very irritating to the eye. You dont have to shout to get your problems solved....

I have applied to SCMHRD and looking forward to SIIB and SIBM as i'll be getting around 95 in SNAP..Just today i have recieved this publicity material from SCIT. My opinion about SCIT is that it's not a regular B-School and would demand a lot of core computer science skills for the course.. (That's not a prob as i am a compu sc. student).. But i want to make sure that it's not a bad bet... Help me make the decision.....
hey superduk, i'm sorry but as a policy of SIIB we do not comment on other Symbiosis colleges. if u want any further info abt SCIT do visit their website or post ur query on their thread. hope u understand....ask me anything abt SIIB and i will be glad to help u out.

Sign it and send it to SIIB admissions office with the payment Advice which is in the prospectus. Well that's it for the freshers ..(Open Seats).. You need to attach the sponsorship letter if you wish to apply under that category... Well SIIB seniors What do you say??..

Dear Neelabh, Actually I couldn't find much info regarding GD/PI in previous posts.Please Repeat and Give some guidelines regarding what should be our approach to tackle second phase. Thank you

hey, ok i'll repeat the same for ur benefit. the gd/pi round at SIIB is a four stage process. it starts wid a gd, followed by a psychometric test and a written test and ends wid the interview. the gd is in form of a case study. they are generally simple case study based on business situation where the group has to come out wid a common solution. for example i had a case study on a fictional mid size pharma company headed by a typical low risk, low return kind of indian entreprenuer and his american educated young go getter son. it dealt with problems of generation gap, difference in management appproach etc.this gd is followed by a psychometric test where in about 30 mins u have to answer abt 90 questions. it basically tests u on ur value system. then u have a written test where u have to write short essays on current topics. mine for instance was abt rewriting of history syllabus by succesive governments. so in this case u will do well to prepare a bit in current affairs. finally comes the interview. interview at SIIB is a pretty simple affair. no stress interviews are held. candidates are basically tested on aptitude. so u need to show that spark in the interview.for people wid work ex, a few questions might be asked abt the background of their company, their learnings etc. so u wud do urself a world of good if u come prepared on these points. any further doubts?

hi pallavi, i think if u go through the previous posts u will get answrs to almost all of ur questions on admission criterion, cutoffs,gd/pi etc. as for the life here at SIIB there is only one word to describe it - EXCITING !! its hard work( 9 to 7 classes) and fun also. u make frnds with people which will one day be the top honchos of top companies ( as u wud be !! ) so networking skills are learnt frm day 1. working in teams, balancing work and social life , time management are skills u learn apart frm Market Reaserch, Management Accounting, Forex Risk Management, Exim Procedures, Capital Market...........the list goes on. and wen u emerge out of SIIB at the end of two years wid the diploma in one hand and a fabulous job offer in another u feel that u have made the right decision. what do u say? do write in. any other queries? i am here.
