I am planning to construct a Life@XL chronicle using excerpts from this life at XL thread... your opinion seniors??????

life has moveda full circle, it was only yesterday we were posting frantically trying to get information from eniors, scavenging every post, thread, discussion we could find just to interact, talk and know our potential batchmates seniiors and ofcourse XL itself. Today sitting in the office I was reminded of the same time...
Its 3rd week into the internship and already we are missign XLRI too much, the long hours put in there seem to be pleasant as compared to life in the corporate world. Sure enough XLers are everywhere, even in my office every second person is an XL alum, XL mafia hunhhhh

The weekends are fun with Xlers all over the place....andmumbai has a lot to offer for the wandering mind

The feeling that you get when you receive the first paycheck in hand cant simply be described in words
Seems like this weekend the party shall go on and on ( vaise bhi kon sa band huyi the 😛 ) coz most of us would get our stipends( for some like me, it would be the 1st ever in life 😁 )
Being in mumbai is an advantage in itself, XLers are not far,
the wait for weekend begin on monday itself

Welcome to all the juniors, who made it to XL this time, I am eager to meet you all

Kudos to seniors for keeping this thread alive. Can't wait to reach JSR and carry on legacy. Many puys are joining XL this year. I am sure this thread will be buzzing in some time.

PS: Anu Sir, excellent post as always. Will love to join External Linkages. Hopefully, will get a chance. 😁

Hey Guys,

Nostalgia grips me as I see the same emotions running through this thread as were there sm 2 years ago when another new batch of lost souls was bout to join. Trust me, these are going to be the best 2 years of your lives and ask their worth from somebody who has already left XL. Live it to the fullest and make us proud. Here's wishing you all the best in your journey ahead and may all of u get wat u deserve. Here's d_1 signing off with a heavy heart and seriously wish if I cud have stayed a little longer@XL. I wish like quoting one of my favorite songs-

Another turning point a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable but in the end
It's right I hope you've had the time of your life

cheers,

d_1

So the dream finally becomes a reality

Thread seems dead for the past 4 months :(

Well I have nothing much to add...5th term is almost over...hardly 3 months left before it's time to bid adieu...feeling sad already

You'll have loads of time to feel sad, for now indulge in Bishu Da's 3.00 am parathas, Dadu's overprices items and other things we are missing right now 😞

last time most of them happened during November only...
this year they will be in the next term

Hoe many of them has happened ? Haven't seen many pics on fb yet. Prepare for a gastronomical treat once they start :)

Robaxi members (if any on this thread) - Please upload some pixs once it happens

This time robaxi dinner will happen on saraswati puja night in all probability :)

and till now, no regional night has been arranged

Yet another wet nite(albeit this time it's different as it's happening on the occasion of Alumni Homecoming).Met alums who were coming here after a gap of 10 years-their stories of how they miss Xl even after 10 years is amazing to hear! When the workload & monotony of submissions gets too much, it makes sense to pause and see how people from other side of the fence view XL. I,myself, try and go back a year when I was in Delhi, slogging in my job, wishing how I would give anything to get here(after having screwed up CAT) and now that I am here, sitting in one of the hostel rooms here and talk to my friends who didn't unfortunately make it,I realize what a privilege it is to be here!

So guys looking for some inspiration here amidst preps(as I used to), I just have one thing to say guys : Go for it! It's definitely worth it. Godspeed gentleman
