Eight teams from different states participated in IPL 2015. The tournament comprises three stages Group stage, Semifinals and Final. In the group stage, each team played exactly two games against each other-one at home and one away. Winning team of the group stage match is re warded six points, losing team gets No point and in case of a Tie each team is rewarded two points.
