Mannheim Business School | 2013 - 2014 Aspirants

@sayanddude best of luck

I got through the final interview as well...

I would like to know how you guys are planning for the MBA funding?

@suresh_237

congrats buddy......

well for the funding stuff, I had asked Stefanie regarding the Sparkasse Loan (German Student Loan) in January itself, but she mentioned that the loan conditions are yet not finalized. I would prefer the loan from Germany since the interest rates are lower than those in India.

I contacted her yesterday as well however she is currently OOO and would probably return by Monday. Let's see whether she has any update or not.

Could you share your profile mate.

Lets try to sync the study loan process..

@suresh_237 thanks buddy....that will be really helpful....please message me ur number....

@naman.tuteja: Hi Naman, I have a very poor GMAT 530. Do you think I should take second attempt and improve my score before applying to Mannheim? Avg GMAT score is much higher than I have? Does MBS consider the latest GMAT score or do they take an average?
My WE is 7.5 yrs in Telecom but no management exp.

Do you think I can have good chance to get an admit in MBS if I improve my GMAT score?

@tazio http://www.parmentier.de/steuer/incometax.htm check out this link i guess it gives a more clear picture about the income tax thing and it mi8 cheer u up(a lil i guess), i think its pretty gud compared to other countries like US and Canada(well depending on the states of course) but still pretty decent and worth staying in germany...........if you have a spouse and children then less tax deduction..............hope it helps

Hello All,

I have also got an admit from MBS ...Would be accepting the Contract soon.

@naman.tuteja Please update about Sparkasse loan. It seems to be a good option for financing MBA.Looking forward to meeting you all there.

When are you guys planning to apply for visa?
@koolmrsam Hello, yep you would need to improve ur GMAT score.....specially for indians the GMAT requirement is a lil high than avg in each college.....so try getting atleast 650 and with ur experience u stand a good chance....but please note GMAT is only one of the criteria....there are 2 interviews and a case study....so one needs to perform in all the 3....

all the best....
@adi_nirvana sure buddy.....as soon as I have more info.....hoping to get some more next week from Stefanie.

@suresh_237 my friend, do let us know once u speak with ur alumni friend....this will help us all....

@naman.tuteja : I had an interesting discussion with the Alumini..

Funds upto 15000 euro's....pf/mutual funds/gold savings cannot be taken as actual savings...

@naman.tuteja Can you please PM your contact info..
@suresh_237 replied to your email buddy :)

@naman.tuteja: Thanks Naman for the info. Have you asked recent graduates from Mannheim about the post-MBA salaries, job market, esp. for non-Germans? Have heard that a recent graduate from MBS was offered only 50k and was very surprised. I am bit concerned about doing MBA in Germany w.r.t ROI especially becoz I am not fluent in German language...

A good article on German Blue Card.

Also remember to read the comments too.

Hi Guys

How many of you have got admits so far? Are they still taking people or its already full?

Hi Puys, This is more a question for all those who already have admits. Have you selected your stream. Is there any way in which I can Research about the streams?

@VSCPC I think its 4 admits as of now. Yes they are still taking interviews, that's for sure.
