Hello Puys,
I am currently working in TCS. My experience is around 16 months. I've written GRE and my score is 316.
1.Will I get admission into a good B school in the US(preferably)?
2.Which B schools should I apply to?
3.What are the chances of ending up with a good job after my MBA through GRE.
4. Also, please throw some light on the fee structures and the expenses I should bear over there??

Thanks in advance,
Siva Charan

Dear CharanSivaK,

Being a part of Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, I would like to note that you should check the universities and if they accept GRE score. In most of the cases of B-schools, GMAT score is preferred, however some, like us, accept GRE as well.

The admission will depend not only on GRE score, you will be asked to provide your English score, previous degree scores, CV, recommendations, achievements if any. GRE or GMAT is only one of the requirements, therefore, you should be very careful while checking the programme of your interest.

What course are you looking for? Depending on your interest and future aspects, you should select the school which offers you the best conditions to study and work after it. 99.9 per cent of our students get placed within 3 months with start up salaries of around 75000 US dollars per annum. Strong corporate relations, ranking of the programme, Career Centre, job fairs play huge role in this. Your visa would get extend for 1.5 year after studies directly so you could look for job options. US is quite strict in this case, so you may try to look at other countries which offer better conditions.

Getting a good job later on does not depend on GRE, but on your studies, performance during it, university placements, your will to work and build a good future. Company will hardly look at your GRE, it will look at your achievements and performance during the interview as well as what can you offer to their future success.

Fee structures will depend on university and separate programmes. I believe, you would need to short list the programmes of your interest first, that would make your search easier.

Hope, that helps a bit to answer your query.

Wishing you all the best.
