LRDI was a a mixed bag...DS questions were easy while some LR sets were time consumin...n Quant..was a cakewalk (atleast for ppl wid good grip on probability n inequalities)...
I have attempted 140-145 questions...hope to achieve 80-90% accuracy...
paper ws slightly on tougher side... i attempted around 120 quest.. sxpected to reach accuracy of 80%.. hey shruti cn u give sol or key points of this paper???

hey guys....
the paper was okay....probability problems were many.....
Well I haven't yet seen the question paper,so can't comment on that..But I can make that vocab part and the GK section was tough(through your posts)
Now you have given your best..Relax and celebrate this break :)
Result is expected to out by 2nd April..
About the cutoffs-take that with pinch of salt.Frankly speaking about my experience,I didn't even checked my answers after the entrance..It was the last entrance test for me(15th Feb 2009)..I didn't even bother to check the expected cutoffs and all.I remember the day when the GD-PI list was out.I was already talking to my senior that time(prospective senior, then;) )and I was so careless to even remember the date when the results were suppossed to be out.I asked him and before I could blink my eyes,he told me that I am called.I thought he was kidding but then I checked the website and started dancing after looking my name in that listSo you party hard as you have given your best already..Wait for the hardwork to pay off :)
For queries except on the questionsof the paper ;),revert back..
Cheers 😃
Hi Shrui, Thanks for the support shown on the forum for all the applicants. Good Work.
Now that the exams are over, I have a few queries.
How are the seats for OBC category filled for MBE, is it that all the seats are occupied by applicants or the category, or is it that some seats get converted into General. Well this is b coz, some institutes, eg FMS DU donot follow the 10% difference in marks scheme and so have a different method to fill in the seats. While some departments follow 10 % marks differential scheme, and hence some seats get converted intoGeneral. What method is followed by MBE and MFC? What was it last year? Were OBC seats distributed among OBC candidates or were they converted into General?
Others having any information on the same , may please contribute.
Thanks and Regards

@shruti plz post u r gdpi experience

boss no one can predict cutoffs as mars and cutoffs r never released
on personal opinion mbe looks 90% mfc 30%
The exam paper was tough, with all higher mathematics questions,
Only the DI and GK sections were less tougher.
this year number of applicants was sky high. Somewhere between 20k-25k.
With the Quality of Students in India and huge competitiveness cut- off is just a wild guess.
So let us not panic and wait a week for the outcome. Predictions from institutes don't work in actual scenario, they predict sitting in a lab and we take the test under actual conditions.
Though i guess i am out of this race.
Thanks to Shruti for all her help and counselling in the forum.
friends..any one keep a poll of the range of marks...so that we can estimate the cutoff...
my score was 108...
WHITE SNOW
Could you pls share the source from where you got the information of 20-25k aspirants. I doubt this figure as
1. SRCC GBO had a list of about 6500 applicants taking the test, (they had mentioned the list on their web site, scores of all candidates who appeared for the exam)
2. MIB/MHROD has shown the list of all the applicants allotted to different centre. The total no. was close to 10500.
3. I dont think, MBE/MFC had any such list. It is highly likely that the no. of applicants would be in the same range. May be alittle more. But 20k or 25 k has a margin of 25%, and more so this figure seems a wild guess. No offences, but was just curious, is it by some genuine source or word of mouth. Even the prospectus 1 yr back for mfc said selection ratio for 40 seats is 1:400, which comes close to 16k, and most of the applicants would be common for both mbe and mfc. So the 25k concept seems highly unlikely.
Now that the exams are over, we must wait for the results and not create a confusion, with some arbitrary wild guess or figments or imagination. I am sorry if i sound rude, pls take it in the right spirit.
Thanks
