I know a person who got shortlisted for gd-pi last year , but could not convert.

He did around 115 questions with 85% accuracy...

Therefore, you may get a hint of cut off's last year.....

This year's exam was difficult for sure than last year's. But cannot comment on cut off's.

If I am not wrong,you too had a call last year.Anyways,not only written exam have some weightage,your performance in the GD-PI is also equally important.But how much weightage was given last year and how much would be given this year can't be predicted.All you have to do is wait for the GD-PI result and then rock the GD-PI sessions 😃

yes i did....how r u?...glad to see u get into this course from our group of people appearing in gd....i recently read you poems and blogs...and u seem to be doing absolutely fantastic....keep going....

Shruti, could u ask someone from admin as how how much applications have been received specifically for mbe....how many people have applied for it(not taking into account mfc applicants).....

Hi Shruti, could u please elaborate on the procedure for OBC intake. I mean, no. of seats and no. of candidates that finally got admissions? Also was there any 10% differential in marks taken into account for OBC candidates, and if yes, then were these seats converted into general. Was curious to know ...Pls confirm 4m the dept. or ur batchmates.

MA Economics is hardcore course based on economic principles and all but MBE is amalgamation of business and economics.Its basically on how to apply economics in the business.

As far as about the value of MA Economics,I don't have much idea about it.

I am doing MA economics from Delhi School of Economics, DU. There are many companies that come to the campus for placement. So, answering your question, yes it has a corporate value, plus a good brand value.
But, there is big difference in the course with mbe. It is completely academic, and you should choose it only if you can manage rigorous studying.

thanks for your kind reply i wants to know more about the dse. is its entrance test check management aptitude or economic knowledge what is average placement. if anyone wants career in government organisation like rbi,planning commission,ies/iss whether it better option.what is the minimum qualification
